South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;

Andras sighed, that very sound brought her tentative gaze upward to rest upon his face, studying his features for no other reason to commit it to memory. He claimed such a place he spoke of was safe, that very word seemed to make the woman's mind start to wander to what it would feel like to finally be safe.. But didn't she already feel safe with her forest friends? Yet how inclined the pale haired fae was to believe. No matter how gullible sweet soul was entirely disposed to believe most people. Yet in her gut she was sure, she had yet to see a man with such heart that Andras did in that moment.

There was an intensity that seemed to overtake the intimidating fae before her, his eyes seemed to cloud over in darkness she wished to see through. It hardly prevented the woman from taking those tentative steps forward like a timid doe entering a clearing. She drew in closer still... "I believe you.." She nodded softly, her sweet voice far surer than her steps. That distance so easily closed, coaxed even further by that gentle reassuring smile that found his features all at once. "I like it better when you smile." she admits before the mention of a treasury has her swept away on a blissful tangent once more! It saw to those metallic eyes sparkling like starlight embellished by an overwhelming curiosity within the excitable fae.. Her eyes seemed to widen, inspired infinitely by his words, shooting her slender free hand to her mouth that gaped at him. She squeaked in excitement that could no longer be contained, nearly rising onto her tiptoes for sheer need to move. "You would??? That sounds amazing, more than amazing even!" That excitement trilling within her lyrical soprano voice. He had her wrapped around his little finger now, eating right out of his waiting hand no matter how much he had earlier frightened her. Now she seemed to trust him, like a gazelle trusting a lion not to devour it. It was like she clicked into place and in that very moment she would have followed him just about everywhere.

A pleasant smile seems to curl at the corners of her lips, a smile that had the potential to melt an iceberg. That wild excitement only growing when that well time offer left him, she grabbed her own hand as though she couldn't contain herself, drawing that now clasped hands to her chest. All while still cradling that emerald necklace within her loving grasp. Now where was such a place he spoke of? That was the true question and perhaps she even looked around as if she had somehow missed it, or maybe it had been glamoured.. Thankfully, Andras was quick to explain, well sort of. Her brows raise as she looked up at him in question, hanging off every offered word. When suddenly a portal appeared just behind him, crackling with a violent power that should have terrified her. Woah, well that was not there before, she was sure of it. Magic seemed to radiate from it, a black vortex of energy, like it was an ominous abyss. One that Iliana apparently was supposed to go in.... That? Her wide doe eyes drag to Andras once more, noticing the sweat that drew from his brow from exertion. "Are you okay?" She looked at him as a worried frown etched within that smooth concerned face. Was it the portal that caused this? His rich baritone voice then began to explain and she wondered in that moment, how she had ever feared him at all!

She drew closer toward it as if hypnotized.. "I have to go through.... that and then we will be there?" Iliana questions as if contemplating such a thing, gesturing toward it with the emerald necklace still wrapped securely within her grip. It was like an adventure, she was sure of it! To go into another world seemed almost surreal. She drew ever closer still unable to help the way they so drew her in, her steps tentative at first, his words all but soothing trying to settle her darting heart. "It does look frightening.. but it also looks.. like a starless night.." she admitted. Her head snapped to peer at him at the mention of flying, how she so desperately wanted to fly. He didn't know it yet. But Iliana was absolutely riddled with envy of the fact that his wings could bring him to the same place that Mr.Crow could.

She admired his wings for a moment before looking toward her now lowered hands, offering him that necklace she had pilfered from him not even an hour before. That sheepish look crosses her face as he thanked her, the fae woman watching closely as he stashes it away into the depths of his pockets. It felt wrong simply returning what she had taken.. it was hers and yet it felt more like she was gifting it back to him. If he truly offered her safety there was no gemstone (arguably) that would rival such peace. She peered into that portal once more, that black hole mirrored in her eyes.. Andras' strain evident, exerting such strength to create such a powerful gateway between worlds. How fascinating.

The fact that Mr. Crow could come was the only thing that seemed to satisfy her, asking if she wanted to search for her winged companion. There was no need.. she already saw him sneakily land within those trees overhead when the two fae conversed, the raven offering his distaste in the notion of change, a strange land they knew nothing about was hardly safe. A coy smile seemed to spread across her rosy lips, a giggle escaping her slightly at that very secret that would soon be revealed. She didn't reply to his words, only deciding to show him. In an instant, she whistles sharply a pitched sound, that large raven on cue seemed to swoop down from overhead, its massive wings barely flapping.

Mr. Crow all but divebombed the massive male fairy fearlessly, flapping only to ruffle the man's wet hair. With a few feisty flaps of his wings he shot like a bullet through the portal, a gasp escaping Iliana, finding her hand reaching out for him as that exclamation leaves her. But the raven had already been lost to that black void that swallowed him whole. "Mr. Crow!" she cried before running without a second thought as to what she was doing... all but leaping into the portal without fear.. her final words echoing toward Andras as her body partially enveloped into blackness. "Wait.. come back!" and with it that starlight fae was gone into the darkness entirely unsure where she would wind up.

Upon the other side, she opened her eyes, blinking away that obscurity, her body entirely disoriented by that flying sensation. "Woah.." she uttered before the bird swooped to land happily cawing at her, chastising her all the same. She shook her head before calling for the man that had lured her her.. "Andras?" She questions as she turned around slowly, gazing into the portal she had come from not taking into her surrounding, not until she knew the other fairy had made it to the other side.
