South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It was a curious thing to consider, that Raven had first learned of those elephants from a book with no pictures. Those descriptions alone had surely prompted a near absurd picture within her mind. One that surely seemed unbelievable, fanciful and most likely damn near frientening. After all, a giant grey creature with tusks and a trunk, to anyone whom had not seen one before, was surely inclined to be...terrifying. Tobias' own features frowned in consideration. The man unable to remember when he himself had first learned of those creatures. That Other part of him likely to have been utterly fascinated and yet, if that memory existed, he could hardly find it now. That memory, like so many others, having become veritably lost within the abyss of his mind. Along with much of his childhood. They existed, he was sure. He remembered them ...sometimes and yet those lacking memories were merely another confusing puzzle in his own unique makeup. Tobias' head shook lightly, the young man determined to rid himself of those obscure thoughts for now. The man unwilling to have his honeymoon ruined by those more depressing considerations. Tobias' attention returned to Raven then as she interacted with the animal. It was...surprising how very gentle the creature appeared, for its size. The elephant was surely capable of destroying that enclosure if it desired, let along knocking his mate down and yet it seemed entirely focused on that cabbage she held. Could it scent Raven was a wolf? Or did it merely see human alone. How many questions he had! Tobias, in that moment, surprised by his own curiosity. It was no real wonder that Raven had desired to see them up close, let alone offer them food.

Tobias moved to grasp his own cabbage then, the man holding that offered food out far more ...at length then Raven had. He hardly distrusted that animal, rather, Tobias found himself merely.....wary of it. After all, there was every chance that animal might somehow sense that Leopard within himself and react poorly to it. The elephant that approached him, fortunately, appearing as even tempered as Raven's own as it gently and quietly took that offered food. Tobias momentarily.....amazed by that very creature. The lanky deviant unable to prevent that grin that found his lips in response to the peaceable creature. Raven, it seemed, had attracted the attention of a younger elephant, his wife held out that offered food for the animal to take. Its ears moved almost nervously, this one lacking the bravery of the adults, the baby taking several moments longer before at last reaching for that offered treat. Raven's sudden soft insistence that elephants thought them cute in the same way they might adore a puppy or kitten saw his own eyes lift ever so slightly. The young man returned his gaze to those animals then, Tobias eyeing them curiously once more. Did they truly find him ...cute? Like a kitten? How.....curious.

"Do they really? I don't think anyone has ever thought I was cute. I suppose I was a kitten once. I still don't think anyone thought I was cute then though. I don't ...remember it well. I think I was kinda a ...er.....scrappy sort of kitten."

'Scrappy' was perhaps putting it politely. 'Street Cat' might surely have been more accurate and yet it was, perhaps, hardly the time to bring up such things now. Tobias moved to offer one final treat to the nearest elephant before that man returned to guide them towards the area those elephants took their baths. The idea of that water, even now, readily prompting a near...aversion within the man as he eyed those hoses and buckets warily. Tobias' gaze shifted from Raven to those hoses and back again. It was a foolish, stupid, illogical fear and yet how desperatly deep it was ingrained! Still, Raven had chosen this activity, Tobias determined to see it through if only for her sake. The man not unwilling to admit he liked those elephants in turn. If he could drive through a river then surely he could help wash those creatures. Then again, driving through that river had not put him at any risk of touching the water. This an entirely new hurdle and unexpected obstacle. Tobias, once more, left staring toward that washing bay with a clear hesitation.

Raven, it seemed, had already sensed that hesitation, her hand suddenly enclosing within his own before softly suggesting they hardly had to do that task if he didn't desire too. Tobias once more offering that firm shake of his head, that very gesture sending that shaggy dark mopf of hair falling into his eyes.

"No, I.... well, you should do it. I know you want to and its okay, really, you go ahead. I'll come with you and stand on the side. I still want to see it, I still want to watch I just don't want to....get wet myself. You'll enjoy it though, I know you will. Go on ahead."

Tobias moved to step forward then, his hand gently tugging Raven's own to bring her towards those animals once more. If this was something Raven looked forward too and desired to do then he was determined not to stand in her way. Tobias sure he could manage to stand on the side and at least watch over her- if nothing else. Safe from that water.
