South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya hardly cared if Henry trusted himself as he so adamantly seemed to keep vocalizing. The point wasn't to make him trust himself as it was to get him to start realizing he can trust the ones he's with. For all the conflict her and her brother had, she knew Tet would not let Henry hurt someone if he was with him and the same went with her. She was more than capable of handling Henry's feral self and if he would just chill and realize that then it would be that much easier for Henry to learn the ropes when with them. Nadya simply remained silent and watching Henry through all his huffing and puffing before relenting through the change on his own. Boys.

The growl that emanated from the newly shifted panther was paid no heed. Her statuesque figure waited while the human within fought to gain full control. So much internal fighting when it should be like dancing, a partnership that you walk alongside the animal. Baby steps.

That pheromone ability whispered easily around them, calling on Henry to remain focused on her alone. The feminine feline's form finally rose and carried to the new male, brushing against him as felines do in greeting as that soft rumble built in her throat. Nadya continued on, sliding past him towards the rest of the forest while beckoning him to follow. The one thing about hunting was that you never knew what you were going to come across until it was in front of you. That wasn't going to be helpful in this situation so Nadya made a beeline for the river. Although the temperature was dropping for the winter season, she knew the water was deep enough and had enough movement that it never froze over and fish still lingered.

"Did you ever fish growing up?" Nadya questioned lightly, slowing her pace in order to walk beside Henry. "My brothers and their friends did but I could never sit still long enough to catch anything and the floping of the fish on the hook scared me." Nadya led him through a thicket of bushes to come upon a wide stream cutting through the land. The pheromones which she used in order to keep him close on the trek there were pulled back, allowing Henry mental clarity. There was no point in teaching him anything he was only focused on her. "I had my first shift when I was nearly 6 and the creek is the first place my father took me to start learning. Oh, and don't worry about the taste of an animal when hunting, the shift staunches the aversion to it." The prey was quick but there was no chance of the fish fighting back like a larger animal. The basics were still the same. Control, speed, and accuracy.

The ebony panther gracefully treaded the edge of the bank as those yellow orbs scanned the contents of that water. She paused at a longer stretch where the stream evened out to create a little oasis with plenty of rocks and fallen vegetation where the light glinted off the silvery scales of the darting fish darting around. Nadya plopped her rear down, glancing over at Henry. "Ready?"
