South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

when I walk into the room there's nothing you can do
To stop me from making moves
I'm coming for you

His every step upon those rolling manicured hills is nothing if not purposeful as Alexander crossed the hills of Ascension. The oceanic hue of his irises traced the young woman's silhouette as she remained leaning against the ebony fence that surrounded the Equestrian Center. He was entirely aware of the tenseness to her frame and yet, there was a nagging sense of familiarity to her, even as he approached the woman. It was rare, admittedly, when Alexander found his memory struggling. It was the Dark Hunter's curse, that simple incapability of forgetting in any manner whatsoever. Already, his thoughts were filtering through the faces he'd met in the last decade before the details of her fair feminine features sharpened with the decrease in distance between the two. Beylani. The young woman had been his barista for a short amount of time and yet, one fact he was most assured of was that she had been human. Something clearly must have happened to prompt her transformation and yet, the question remained whether or not it had been of her own volition or if it had been a change forced upon her. Though his own son and grandson were both of fae origin, Alexander knew well that not all of their kind were nearly as amiable.

Acutely, his blue-green irises noted the way in which she almost seemed to shrink at the very sound of her name upon his lips. The action only prompted his gaze to narrow ever so slightly as he listened attentively to her softened voice. Oh, how things had so clearly changed for the poor woman, the once inquisitive girl somehow reduced to a shivering rabbit before the hunter, though he expected it had strikingly little to do with what he was. His very declaration that the Equestrian Center was closed to the public, however, only seemed to further prompt some sort of internal retreat within the woman as she stammered over her words, her fair voice gingerly trailing off in a hint of timidness that had surely not been there before within his employee. The very corners of his lips tilted downwards ever so slightly, even as he inquired if there was something she needed help with. The very look she regarded him with spoke volumes of words left unspoken. He watched as her bright blue eyes seemed to glassen with tears left unspilled, that silence stretching out between them before breathlessly those soft, fractured words left her lips. He watched as her gaze turned away from him and immediately his eyebrows knitted together.

An altogether soft sigh left his lips and yet, Alexander's attention remained steadfast upon her even as he stepped closer towards the fence and the young woman that lingered just on the other side. "I'm sorry Beylani." He muttered softly, his arms tendering wrapping around the girl in a gentle hug. It was, admittedly, the most affectionate gesture the usually firm Dark Hunter had ever given the blonde girl and yet, even he could tell with that very look how close to falling apart she was. He was more than content to hold the girl, if she needed, desired, or even allowed it. Any contact of flesh, however, was all that was required to allow his own affinity to take hold - that simple touch enough to let any thought that passed through her mind filter through his own in turn. Gingerly, Alexander released her from his grasp at any slight indication of the girl pulling away. It was clear to him, however, that she needed far more than just a hug, that very assurance prompted him to gingerly hold out his hand. "Would you like to come see the horses, Beylani? And then...maybe you can tell me what happened that turned you into a fae." That very suggestion so surely revealed just how aware he was of those changes that had taken place, much less fed into the very notion that Alexander was hardly as mortal as he had appeared. Still, it seemed as if Beylani needed it - that knowledge that in whatever had happened to her, she was not alone.
