South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Trust was quite the convoluted topic for the emerald eyed fellow. One one hand, his entirely life had been a myriad of broken promises and cruelty, of forced misgivings and slavery. He had learned every reason why he should trust absolutely no one. She might have been a canvas of scars but his hide healed too quickly to show all that he'd endured, leaving nothing but perfect skin for one malicious vampire to take out her deepest of fantasies. On the other hand his entire relationship with his sister and his childhood friend had shown him the benefits of such a vulnerable thing. Trust could be good. He offered the young woman the smallest of shrugs on the topic, hardly caring either way if she chose to trust him or not. Quite frankly, Tetradore wasn't sure what trust had to do with the shift. After all, human or other wise he was fairly certain that he had the capability to harm her if he so desired it. It was all this that led the male to be silent at the brush of her mind against his, seeming all together apathetic regarding her concerns. The question was not weather she could trust him but just how much she wanted to escape from this place and for a brief moment, the man considered the possibility that maybe she liked it here enough to stay within her stubborn lupine form.

In the end, it was movement from the young woman down the hall that spurred the woman into action, causing the transformation that gave him a view of her scarred hide. There was no hint of surprise or concern upon his masculine features. Instead his gaze drifted lazily across her feminine figure, still poised and waiting for her approach. The moment her foot fell into his laced hands, the man effortlessly lifted the young woman into the air, pushing her upwards the trunk of the tree, his hand grasping her thigh as he shoved her upwards. Only the smallest glimpse of satisfaction crossed his features at the sight of her crouching in the branches of the tree. He had intended to use his jaguar's natural abilities to climb to scale the tree but she seemed eager to assist and with a soft sigh Tetradore let his hand fit into within hers, fitting his feet into the curves of the bark to help push while she pulled him upwards. It took a bit more effort then it would have had he merely returned to his animal form but the woman hadn't quite made it to the armadillo enclosure and so he was content enough with the change of plans. Deftly Tetradore remained balanced in his place, letting the woman slowly work her way through the path he'd chosen for them. Now that they were safely within the sanctuary of the tree, his desire to hurry had all but vanished.

Unlike his counterpart, Tetradore deftly danced from one tree limb to another, holding little fear of a fall or misplaced step. He was entirely within his element as he made the final leap, letting his own form give way to the feline that so suited him. In a most spectacular fashion, the feline landed upon his feet, his emerald gaze sliding backwards towards the tree and the fence they both vaulted over. He felt the brush of her words cross the forefront of her mind, causing his attention to wander back towards the woman. Slowly his large paws brought his figure forward, his sinews rippling beneath his taunt ebony figure. He hardly faltered when he came upon her figure, instead using his weight and large paws to push the girl over and into the ground beneath him. For a brief moment he stood over her, his head bending down, burring into her fur to taste the scents that lingered upon her coat. A soft growl left his lips before he pulled away from her, a brief glimpse of understanding crossing his emerald gaze. His mind brushed against her, offering her one single sentence. "Should you want it - you are welcome with our pack." It was the only words he spoke before the male turned, picking up his pace and promptly disappearing into the umbrage of the night to return to where he supposedly belonged.
