South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Beachside Bar & Bistro

Resting right on the beach near the small, locally owned shops and markets sits a bar and bistro with an elegant yet modern interior. There is seating both indoors and outdoors on the back patio where one can enjoy the melodic sounds of saltwater waves and fresh air. The menu consists of French dishes alongside American and Seafood choices and a wide range of liquors at the bar inside to accommodate the varied tastes and cravings of its customers. It is a charming little establishment that allows for those needing a break from the busy city streets to come and unwind.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

With his pencils retrieved from the floor, Alistair did his best to swiftly fit each one back into its designated space. The newly turned hunter was aware, all the while, of the young woman's gaze steadily focused upon him. It had apparently taken her a moment to truly realize what he had admitted to, the abrupt sound of her voice drew his eyes upwards and towards her. His brow rose as he watched the woman wave her palms, only to declare him a baby. A distinctly unimpressed look crossed his features, his lips pressing together in a hard line as she giggled at him. Her hand flew to her mouth and yet, the damage to his ego had already been done as Alistair rolled his eyes. "I was recently turned, if that's what you mean." He clarified, preferring that over the term 'baby'. Oh, how aware he was of those stifled sounds of laughter, the new Hunter shaking his head ever so slightly as he finally closed his pencil case, only to slide it back into his messenger bag. It seemed to take just that long for the clearly more experienced Hunter to regain her composure, her laughter eventually subsiding.

Alistair glanced at her, noting the near beam upon her lips. A soft sigh left his lips at that term 'baby', again, and slowly, the artist turned to face her. "Do you have to keep calling me that?" He inquired with a glimpse of annoyance. He was hardly prepared for those equally as abrupt introductions, the woman extending her hand with a declaration of her name. "Buffy...like....buffy the vampire slayer?" Alistair inquired dubiously. He knew Dark Hunters were immortal but...she certainly looked no older than he was. Surely she wasn't some ancient well known hunter that awful 90's tv show was based off of...was she? Or maybe she was just...that enamored with the idea of being a vampire slayer? After meeting Alistair's own maker, the idea certainly seemed feasible enough. "Alistair Rosenthal." He responded after a moment, fitting his hand firmly within her own for that brief handshake. Well...at least he was making...acquaintances with his...co-workers? Is that what they called each other?
