South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Funny thing love. When one is born they are usually created out of two individuals that have fallen for one another. Exposed to the brutality of this cruel world, the new born is protected and surrounded by the forces of love by their family. As the child grows up they go through whatever life throws at them, a roller coaster that has its ups and downs, but even at the darkest moments or the lowest point of their lives...they are brought back into the light by having tendrils of love received and given by those closest to them. They could give and receive love in any shape or form. They could function in society. Yet that was something Raven had not had the pleasure of experiencing before. Sure she might have been created with some form of love intact, and perhaps before she would open her eyes and walk around she might have felt a little bit of it. Yet when she was big enough to be on her own and experienced her first full moon that was when everything changed and she felt nothing but abhorrence and discomfiture. In her life she was thrown different assortment of punches, her roller coaster did not go up it simply went down, as far down as she never thought possible. The darkest moments only got darker and the lowest point went so far down that there was no light in any shape or form. Whatever ability she had that gave her the ability to love those tendrils were far too weak. Though right now there was a glimmer of light when she was among those she cared for, but it was far too faint then it should be, but at least it was growing. That Tobi did not know love she couldn't lie and told him she had, but she knew somehow that possibility existed. All she could do was shrug helplessly.

Emotions were tricky for her, but she understood the meaning and definition behind them, and more importantly, when the appropriate time was to act on it. Anger and sadness came far too easy for her and her anger frightened her. The kindness that Nadya had shown when she took her and Alexis shopping she wasn't sure what the proper emotion she was supposed to act out, so she remained shy and guarded acting as if she detested the outing all together. Though deep down she was glad to have someone help her and Alexis, but she wasn't quite sure how to show it, and so she resulted to her own habit by being indifferent and so very guarded. When Alexis was around it was easy for the lupine to care and attempt to make the vixen happy, the emotion of sympathy was something she always felt for the girl and she wanted to at least make her be delighted about something. As she explained the number and pointed to certain body parts that pertained to the same digit the young girl couldn't help, but give the deviant a light chuckle. Her hand continued to gently stoke his spotted tail as he declared which parts she had that were 'one,' and she was finally feeling at ease once more with him. As he began to leap and bound around she couldn't help, but sigh and shake her head helplessly.

"Well, actually there are two feet...and two arms...but we can learn about numbers later."

After all she didn't want to spoil his fun and correct him all the time. He needed to at least cherish what small knowledge he gained. Things take time and many steps and the way he functioned and thought it would take a while for him to gain and understand such things, but she had faith he would know in time. Though perhaps his unique mind was one of the things she had admired about him in the first place. He thought differently, he did not function as everyone else and yet she was tolerable with it. After all, she was not one that thought he needed to change completely. If he wanted to understand anything about society or how things work she was more than happy to oblige and help him, but only if he needed it. She would not forcefully change him. His rumbling purr of satisfaction caused the girl to shyly grin up at her deviant companion, happy to hear such a sound come from him as she leaned back due to his teeth clamped on her ear. The crack of lightning caught her attention as she watched it fork across the sky. The scent of rain ever so heavy now. As the two declared they didn't hate one another she watched as he began to stand back on his two legs, his lower half hidden from the tall grasses. His comment about the rain only made the girl nod as she got up, pulling her golden-brown curls from her eyes as the wind began to pick up.

"I like the rain...I think I might stay here for a bit...but I will see you some time tomorrow."

As he continued walking on she would turn and start heading for a nearby willow tree content to spend her night waiting out the storm there. He would not return to the hammock and so she had no reason to return to the warehouse. Besides she needed time to herself to think. Like, why the hell he would kiss her three times, or why he was asking such things about relationships from her. She liked his stolen kisses, she wanted more, and yet she knew it just could not be done. They were not in the proper status of relationships, and the highly morale young woman did not wish to follow down a path that she did not approve of. If anything was going to happen, it had to happen correctly. Far too many things went wrong for her during her lifetime. She didn't have the proper family or the proper pack, but she would have a proper relationship with that special someone...just once she wished something would go right. Raven did not hear Tobi approach her from behind. It was his light snicker that caught her attention and as she turned around she felt his hands cling to her arms and pin them to her side. Blue-grey eyes widen as she simply stared at the boy in shock puzzled as to why he would remain as the first drops of light rain began to fall. As his lips find hers once more she would force herself to return his kiss gently, allowing him to deepen the kiss before his teeth unlatched from her bottom lip. A tiny smirk appeared on her lips as he spoke to her a final time, her words a soft murmur for him to hear.

"Goodnight Tobi."

As soon as he was gone she would turn around and continue heading for the willow tree as the rain continued to come down, but now harder. A flash of teeth could be seen as the girl felt a giddy sensation overwhelm her as her fingers touched her lips, shocked in herself. Butterflies appeared in her stomach, and a buzzing feeling was in the back of her head in something so completely unfamiliar. A small spark within the she-wolf caused a feeling of warmth to overwhelm her and it felt so right...whatever this feeling was.
