South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

you could rattle the stars.
you could do anything,
if only you dared

Her day was already not going the way she had planned, not that she ever planned anything unless it was work related. The pounding headache at the forefront of her mind is forgotten for the moment, her senses on red alert the moment the hairs on the back of her neck stood at attention. It doesn't take much effort to call forth those flames, how very far she had come since the first day she moved to the city, the woman hardly being able to use her powers without destroying half the city. It takes half a thought as she's slashing the space between them, her arc of flame bright and simmering with heat. Snarling, she stars down her nose at him, her facial features twisted in a very un-feminine sort of way. Her ice blue eyes are fiery with rage as the dark hair man pauses in his approach. Vhalla notes vaguely the bottom of his shirt is burned, the stench of the fabric wafting into her nostrils. It's almost satisfying, the sight of his burned flesh would have pleased her more.

Sneering at him, her words dripping with venom as she suggests rather haughtily she gut the man here and now in broad daylight. What she doesn't expect is the carefree he responds to her, as if her threats were nothing but an annoying fly buzzing around. It had been a long time in which someone approached her and wasn't wary of her. No, she wasn't a woman that looked intensely terrifying, but there was something about her that was off putting. Or... at least she had been told. "I think you're both," she snaps, her eyes flashing at him as she rolls to the balls of her feet. She was already ready to drop kick this man and he had barely said anything. Yet, the moment that damn pet name leaves his mouth it has her seeing red, her hands balling into fists as levels a glare at him.

There was nothing she hated more than to be called anything but her name. Tet was perhaps, the only one she had allowed to shorten her already shortened nickname and simply because... it was still her name. It was clear he was implying she was in no state to defend herself let alone launch an assault and yet, this stranger had no idea what she was capable of - she had been in far worse states in even worse conditions to get a job done. A little hangover would hardly stop her from pulling her hidden knife out of her boot and letting his intestines spill on the ground.

A humorous laugh escapes from her lips as she casually glances around at the crowd dispersing around them, though some linger to watch most scurry on their ways not wanting to get caught up in a mess. "You clearly have no idea who I am, darling," she enunciates the pet name viciously, "Or who owns me," she sneers at him. Honestly, if she decided to do away with this man right here and right now, she would pay for it later with Ivan but he would make it go away before word even reached the authorities. Her very owner having more eyes on the city than their were pigeons in the world it seemed. Although, despite the man trying to get handsy with her, Vhalla didn't kill needlessly, only when ordered to do so. Yet, this man didn't need to know that.

His next words has her straightening her spine, a look of incredulousness spreading across her features, the woman hardly able to control her mask in that moment. "Are you actually suggesting that I come find you after my coffee?" She scoffs loudly, her brows arched at the stranger. "You really do have a death wish," she tilts her head at him, her white hair fluttering about her shoulders as a breeze sweeps through the sidewalk. "I think you should go before you make a very, very stupid decision," she gestures with her hand, her scarred fingers flicking towards him. Crossing her arms over her chest, her hip juts out slightly as she waits for him to turn around and walk the way he came, though she takes a very careful look at him - Vhalla already making up her mind that she would trail him tonight. He seemed to be a very... shady individual. Although, she hardly cared on what this man did in his free time, there was something about him she couldn't put her finger on, perhaps he reminded her of Ivan a touch. She was almost certain if the two ever met, it would lead to disastrous things, maybe she could run him out of town before he got too comfortable.
