South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

we built this city on broken glass

There was a sense of satisfaction to that moment. Frost, for the first time in weeks, entirely content to find peace in resting beside his mate atop that blanket and surrounded by the forest. His violet gaze shifted upward to observe the sky above. His thoughts, for once, drifted away from the pack and work. The man merely contemplated that sky for several moments before he lifted that sandwich to his lips. There were too few moments like this. Too few moments of simple peace and quiet. Frost's soft inquiry of what about Micah seemed to be distressing Nadya prompted several moments of silence from the woman beside him before Nadya shifted to roll onto her stomach, her femanine form propped up upon her elbows to eye him as she set her sandwich aside. Frost, for now, equally content to remain upon his back. Nadya's sudden declaration that she feared their son was a necromancer prompted both eyes to lift in surprise. Necromancy was....rare outside warlocks. Such a talent so usually holding a genetic or familiar factor. At least if that research the Hunter Council had done was accurate. Neither Tobias nor Nadya, to his knowledge, held any ability for that and yet it was not...impossible such a gift might spontaneously appear. No matter how unlikely.

Nadya continued then, Frost's own thoughts momentarily waylaid as she spoke of that bird the boy had, seemingly, managed to bring back to life with merely the touch of his hands- or at least- some semblance of life. If Micah truly did possess some talent for Necromancy then his gift was hardly particularly potent yet- if that unfortunate bird was anything to go by and yet, with age and time, his skills would no doubt increase.A truly powerful necromancer so often possessed abilities with vampires in turn. Hmmm. Such a talent would be decidedly....appealing to the wrong beings and yet in its infancy as it was now there was little fear to be had. Still, there remained that ever-present truth that it was not weak, low level necromancy at all, but rather, some sort of....advanced healing. Strikingly so for a child. The frown upon Frost's features shifted slightly into a look of intrigue as those thoughts further turned within his mind. Nadya, it seemed, had considered much the same when it came to that necromancy- if that was indeed what it was. Her concern decidedly clear as she queried whether or not there might be some way to....hold that power in place rather than let it develop. Frost, in that moment, further given to silent contemplation.

"I could certainly find someone to assist in that if need be and yet I....dislike the thought of attempting to hamper him. I understand your fears, it is a rare talent, but would it not be better to have him understand that power sooner rather than later? The sooner he understands it, the sooner he can control it and with control comes his own ability to limit it."

He could so hardly fault Nadya for her fear, not in this. What Mother would not seek to protect her child? Yet was a limit to that power the true answer? Perhaps it was. There were certainly those he could reach out to for such things and yet another thought continued to prevail within the equine's mind.

"I think, perhaps, we should...test this ability before we involve others. After all, what if his gift is not necromancy but rather some talent for biology or healing? Until we are certain I am uninclined to make others aware of him."
