South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. It would hardly be the first time he has been called such a thing, indeed, 'freak' perhaps is very near polite in comparison to what the vampires had spat so venomously at him behind the walls of Syn and yet it is the very tone with which it is uttered that so seems to put the man on edge. The broken guitar turned weapon only seeming to add fuel to the fire as the young man brandishes it wildly towards him, the lanky boy stepping back momentarily in surprise at this sudden outburst before his features darken noticeably. He had only been playing, truly, oblivious perhaps to the nervous nature of the boy, to the horrors the other has suffered, horrors much like his own and yet where this boy has become nervous, wary, flighty even in the wake of his escape- Tobias has only become as violent as those whom had seen fit to imprison him in the first place. Much of his aggression in turn, is absorbed from Tetradore, the other man's paranoid agitation often bleeding back into the boy and as such continuing this vicious cycle. For a moment longer he continues to observe the human in front of him, Birdie's plea to calm down ignored by the young man as one hand suddenly reaches forward once more, softly, slowly, fingernails shifting and changing to be replaced with the deathly sharp claws of his animal form, the man displaying his ability to shift only parts of himself in this moment. Those claws flash briefly in the dim light as they move to scrape against the 'stick' the other man wields, very near caressing it as those dark eyes lift upward once more, meeting the human boys gaze as his words come softly, smoothly and yet laced with malice now.

"This...stick is not....scary. No...no. Do you want to...see something...scary?"

A grin of sorts touches the Were's lips, claws suddenly retracted, releasing the stick the other man still held, leaving him with his makeshift weapon as he snickers slightly once more, lips closing over his teeth, shifting just this single part of himself now before moving to grin suddenly at the boy again. He has seen the marks upon his neck, knows well the mark of the vampire though he is fortunate perhaps, to have never suffered it himself and yet this is a weakness, his ability allowing him to exploit such a thing, to truly attempt to terrify the poor child for no other reason than simply...because he can, shifting merely two of his teeth to perfectly resemble extended vampire fangs, baring them towards the boy now, looking for all the world like a true vampire himself as a feral sounding growl rises within his chest, teeth snapped threateningly towards him....just to see him squeal and run, to become the thing he surely fears.

It is in that moment that the wolf beside him no longer seems capable of retaining her own form. Were's run in packs after all, even loners inclined perhaps, to become influenced by those around them, feeding off his own aggression towards the boy, the desire to hunt and chase an animalistic desire all Were possess- one the seems to take over entirely within the girl as her size increases tenfold, near dwarfing Tobias himself now as she tries to bash the weapon away, Tobi simply stepping back, watching the giant wolf almost warily now as the snarling creature turns upon the boy, the one she had momentarily tried to save. Once more that wicked grin traces his features, his own instincts perhaps warning him away from the wolfess in these moments, some part of him understanding indeed that she is not....herself, that he may well be in as much danger as the boy and yet he moves all the same, fractured mind delighting in this sudden show of aggression from his normally sedate companion, leaping suddenly upward to vault, cat-like, atop the wolfs back, one hand reaching forward to snatch at one of her ears, pulling it back towards himself as he reclines atop her neck with startling ease.

"Look Birdie....look....pretty boy for dinnnnner......you do not.....like boys.....I think...maybe...you should eat him...yes...chase him and....make him run.....like rabbit.....is fun to chase."

He releases his hold on her ear, eyes lifting to meet the young mans own now, snickering softly once more, his madness surely clear in these moments as he suddenly lifts upward once more, stepping back and onto the wolf's rear, using her as a step up and into the nearest tree and out of her reach just in case she should seek to turn on him, arms folding as he leans back against the trunk showing a surprising amount of...capability for someone whom had seemed so very....dim-witted only moments ago. Yet Tobias is hardly what he seems.

"Better run away.....she is...hungry. I do not like it....when people....yell at me."

And apparently, if Tobias has his way- he will pay for it with his life, simply to amuse the man standing in the tree. Let us see how fast Saiyden can run.
