South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Tobias' near maniacal grin never ceased to shock her as if the boy truly exerted everything he had into that disturbing upturn of his lips. Mira half expected him to do something drastic and yet he was content enough to remain where he was. Good.. it was his happy smile and not a mere flash of warning that she had failed to... to recognize.

Raven went almost impossibly darker within her rosy cheeks at the teasing that Mira was quick to seize upon. Come on, they were all adults. There was no way in hiding that very act from other weres on a bright full moon, especially when instincts and urges were heightened. Far too much information passed. It was almost too amusing to watch her fellow wolfmate grow so... nervous by a little playful prodding. She eased up on the poor girl, hardly wanting to bully her. Even though there was no shame in sex. Minus the momentary teasing, Mira was content to see them both doing so well. Yet not even hell itself could pry those boys apart, they seemed almost eager to enjoy at least a moment or two, grasping at a semblance of normalcy. Mira was entirely content to join Raven within the kitchen to allow the boys some time even though.... There was clearly much for her companion and herself to catch up on. It was endearing to see the way Tobias delighted in Tetradore's presence. They needed that time. That strain apart was difficult on everyone. Raven was content to quickly indulge within one of those delicious cookies that Mira had already diligently taste tested on the way over. The fact that Tobias hadn't bothered to snatch as many he could grab showed just how damn much he missed Tetradore! Her golden eyes followed Raven's hand that rested protectively over her ever growing belly, swollen with a life that was developing within it. It was crazy to think of.

Raven lowered her voice several octaves to softly speak of the details of her pregnancy, Mira forced to lean in, to listen to those words. The woman offered a warm smile that met the gentle golden warmth of her eyes, a glimpse of the lava that lay dormant within her. "I am not surprised about the cravings, you're eating for two now." Raven seemed so terribly nervous, hell who wouldn't with your growing your own child. The mother-to-be clearly had a lot on her mind, especially without the usual support of the pack, it was no wonder why she felt... off. The whole world seemed off. Yet it was the talk of classes that seemed to surprise the she-wolf. Had birthing classes somehow become mandatory for having a kid? She was certain no one in her family ever took classes, they were far too old school for that. But times and societal restrictions seemed to... suffocate. Maybe a little reassurance in the form of a class wasn't a bad thing.

It was no surprise Mira wished to offer her companion some support, she could not imagine Tobias enjoying a strict classroom setting regardless of its meaning. "Just let me know if there is one you want to go to.. We will make it work.. I can't say I've ever been... to one of those before." To be honest... she knew all too little about it except the ridiculousness they showed in movies. She could not imagine Tobias thriving at all in the environment and yet the thought of the scrambling teacher attempting to wangle the devious leopard... seemed amusing enough to picture.. But she had also watched her little sister grow up right before her eyes. Like a weed. Mira could only imagine what she looked like now, what classes she took, what hopefully trivial worries she had to plague her mind. She must be so big now... Mira pushed the thought away, content to focus on catching up with Raven. Which was a far more enjoyable thing. She could hear the sounds from the video game in the background as they wasted no time, every moment precious before the full moon took over. Raven seemed to peer over her shoulder, as if making sure the boys were well and truly occupied before she drew in closer. Mira cocked her head lightly to the side, curious as to why Raven seemed to be acting so... peculiar.. Maybe there was something with the baby? Mira leaned against the island, her golden eyes rested upon Raven before the woman began speaking in hushed tones. What could she possibly tell Mira that Tobias and Tetradore couldn't know?

Mira frowned at the mention of that day they had freed the contained people in that warehouse. They were so damn foolish to go in all guns blazing and yet, she was sure they had done more good than bad.. Or at least she told herself that. But there was no damn way she would have gone if she had known Raven was.. pregnant. It had been so long ago, near the beginning of pregnancy. Mira had honestly put it from memory. It was odd that the warlock would end somewhere so far removed, suspicion seemed to flash behind her eyes. While coincidence was a rare thing, most were not. How she doubted in this removed part of the world that anyone would come looking for stock. They would most likely stick to the city. That question to keep alert was met with a simple nod.. "Of course.. But I doubt anyone would come all the way out here.. Let alone, have you seen Tetradore and Tobi in action? And the last time, I checked.... I'm basically a volcano... they would have to be pretty desperate to come after any one of us. Remember... we are stronger together. We will be fine." Mira hardly seemed concerned and yet looking into the blue eyes of Raven full of concern Mira reached out a reassuring hand to brush against her arm. The pair of women were content to speak for a moment longer. Mira glad to move from such a topic.. Tonight wasn't about that.

The full moon rose ever higher in the dark sky, the silver caress of the glow from it seemed to pool in from the window. She could feel... that insistent pull. Mira could not prolong the inevitable, the woman Mira voiced as much, surely she wasn't the only one. Mira and Raven went out the back entrance of that cabin, her inner wolf nothing short of impatient.

Before the boys finished their final game before they met them outside.. Mira already peeled off her clothing, she abandoned in a neat pile on that porch upon the seat of a cedar muskoka chair. Clothing tonight was a useless skin she did not need when her wolf came to surface, she stepped off the porch as if eager to bathe in the moon's glorious glow. Raven already had begun that shift on the porch while Mira had wandered off barefoot onto the grass. How long had it been for her to relish in this? It felt like forever. Nudity had long since bothered her at all, such modesty between weres was lost early on. There was an excitement in the air she felt through her very veins. She heard the door click open as they were soon joined by Tobias and Tetradore. She could hardly help but allow her gaze to shift toward Tetradore who wasted no time, Mira peered over at him as he approached her side. She never got tired from that view, she could hardly help but admire his chiselled physique of the man she called hers. She flashed him a near playful grin. How close the wolf was to the very surface, she could feel her... Mira's exposed caramel flesh broke out into familiar goosebumps, a welcomed shudder that wasn't from the cold escaped her unbidden. Her near glowing golden eyes seemed to meld ethereally into those of her wolf counterpart. It took nothing but a mere welcoming symbiotic thought before her body easily answered that feral call. Caramel flesh burst into a burst of obsidian fur, her body lowering gracefully before those hands and feet were replaced by paws. Everything came into a sharp clarity in mere fluid moments.. All that remained was a wolf. By the time they finished.. Tobias, Tetradore, and Raven had all shifted.

Raven swollen with child, still moved easily enough toward Mira and Tetradore to greet them, a brush of fur in that exchange of scents. Mira's tail flicked back and forth.... Rejuvenated, almost too much so. She had energy to burn.. Raven's voice brushed their minds but Tobias was quick to voice his unsurprising preferences, entirely displeased with the idea of the waterfall.

She dipped her head in a resolute nod toward the spotted leopard. "The leopard has spoken... come on...." Mira all but burst forward eagerly, pressing her ivory teeth to nip at Tetradore's shoulder before surging forward a laugh trickled down that line. The four of them all took off, their paws pounding against the ground as the world blurred around them. Eventually Mira slowed her stride after she exerted some of that pent up energy to match it to Raven's slowing pace. This was... bliss.. Feeling the earth beneath her paws, the lull of the moon, all of it.

Once they all had eased off to slow their pace to meander through the valley that Raven and Tobias led them to.. It was clear Tobias and Tetradore had far more energy to burn. Mira was content to keep close to Raven, scenting the breeze for anything out of the ordinary, content to have found nothing but a trace of whatever animals that kept their distance. Mira could hardly ignore that instinctual pull... She rose her blackened muzzle to face the moon, her front paw lifted as she burst out in her eerily beautiful moonsong, it was like the notes danced within the wavering wind to meet the moon itself! Its beautiful octaves rose and fell in that soulful sound she had put her heart into.

"Raven... sing with me!" She urged in an instant, realizing she had never once heard her howl.
