South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

She couldn't help but think Frost was secretly laughing at her when she first asked him if she could go to the zoo. He was good at his poker face, but his eyes gave him away. They were practically dancing with amusement. Of course, he felt he needed to inform her that the animals were all caged, which he knew she wouldn't be okay with. Maybe she secretly had designs to free them, but she wasn't just going to do it all willy nilly. No, she had to be smart about it. After all, she couldn't just free the prey and predators all in the same go. She needed to ensure their survival, let them out in a certain order so the prey could find the right habitat and hiding places before she released the predators. See? She had thought it all out!

Her heart was already in her throat when she walked through the gate and the first thing she saw was a lone gorilla sitting in the corner of her exhibit. Even from the distance, Malia could see tears glistening on her cheek. She was obviously grieving, maybe over the loss of her zoo-mates? Was that a word? Oh well, she just made it a word. Stopping at the enclosure, Malia pressed against the fence, her own eyes glistening just looking at the poor creature. Turning to the nearest staff member, she glowered. "Hey, you! What's being done about this gorilla? Don't you have any friends for her in your fancy zoo?" The man hesitated at first, already tensing under the accusing tone of her voice but when he actually looked at her, she saw the tension flood from his shoulders as he took her in, obviously underestimating her.

He even smirked, like he was amused or something as he stepped toward her. "Well, little lady, this gorilla was separated from the others because she's a bully." Malia felt her temper flare as she marched toward him. That obviously seemed to get his attention and the man staggered back a step as she stopped right in his face. "You want to see a bully? I'll show you a bully." And she might have managed to kick him into a trash can before running away, but no one was around to tell the tale.

Still laughing, she made her way through the enclosures, trying not to look too closely in case she got sad again. That's when she saw a very familiar figure up ahead, staring into the penguin enclosure. She couldn't help but pause and watch him for a moment, amusement dancing in her eyes as she crossed her arms. Adorable. Finally, she sighed and skipped toward him, slipping up behind him as she dropped her voice to speak in a sultry voice. "Want to make my feathers flap, cat boy?" She was barely containing the grin just waiting to burst onto her features.
