South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

When the last moon is cast over the last star of morning
And the future has passed without even a last desperate warning

How, exactly, did one go about finding a single individual in a city near overflowing with both mortal and supernatural alike? She knew he was here...somewhere. She had seen him get off the plane. She had seen him walk through the concord with two other men at his side. She had seen him get into a car...and it was there she had lost him. Her butterfly wings could not hope to keep up with the fast paced highway traffic and soon his vehicle was no different than the myriad of others that each sped to their own destination. Aislinn, unfortunately, had distinctly little to work with and how painfully aware she was of that fact. She didn't know his name. She didn't know the name of his rider. Nor their companion. What she did know was that he was a horse. Or rather.... part of him was a horse. It was that 'part' that made things...exceptionally difficult. After all, a horse she could find. A horse could be counted on to have certain...needs. They needed a stable. They needed hay. They needed a large yard. But what they needed...a man certainly did not. The key was to discover what a part horse-part man-part pegasus with a rider might need that would set him apart from any other man or horse.....and that...absolutely confounded Aislinn.

A soft huff left the young woman's lips as she surveyed the park she sat in the midst of. Though Aislinn had found a home of sorts with a man that she found equally as...baffling, she found herself frequently returning to the park in some instinctual attempt to be a part of the nature she very much belonged to. The modern world was still too...new to Aislinn for her to find any comfort amongst the sky rise buildings - regardless of how luxurious William's flat was. She had contemplated, wistfully, that the person she was searching for might be drawn to the same allure of wild beauty as she was, that he might occasionally visit the park too if only for the forest that edged it and the true wilderness beyond the manicured grass and carefully trimmed shrubbery. She had yet to be proven right. Her arms crossed over her chest as she sat upon the park bench. The sun was shining cheerily overhead. The hints of summer had finally broken through Sacrosanct's rainy season to leave the day comfortably warm and bright. Aislinn had taken advantage of it with the white sundress she'd stepped out of the house in, even though she was painfully aware of just how much it showed as the hem laid across her knees. Dresses in this era were so much shorter then she was used to. While she tried to embrace it - the modern fashion still proved to be constantly a point of intrigue and her woes of her inability to find the man she was looking for were temporarily put aside by a rather new clothing article catching her attention.

They were akin to what William had called 'shorts' (which in itself was quite the scandalous piece of clothing as far as Aislinn was concerned) and yet...they were attached to a top half made out of the same material. It was a shirt that was not a shirt, clearly, as the woman had another shirt underneath. It was, by far, the most baffling piece of clothing that Aislinn had ever seen to date. Her head tilted to the side as her pale blue irises stared intently at the girl who walked past her, altogether oblivious of the unicorn's existence entirely. It was only once the woman with the peculiar...fashion choice passed her that Aislinn's gaze left her, if only to sweep towards the park bench nearby, one that was occupied by a seemingly elderly woman. A witch, in fact, if Aislinn's instincts were correct...and they often were. Witches were perhaps one of her favorite supernatural races. They were respectful of mother nature. "You - witch. What do you call that...blue thing...she is wearing?" She inquired pointing after the girl with the overalls. It hardly occurred to her that such a demand might be rude. Aislinn, after all, was not one who often associated with mortals, such things so clearly beneath the very embodiment of purity.

Then look into the sky where through the clouds a path is torn
Look and see her how she sparkles
it's the last unicorn
