South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

One of the best way to get close to the wild was necessary going to the source. Only those that were already tied down to nature were capable of being the closest to Mother Nature. Some Warlocks and Witches praised Nature through their magic or rituals. Vampires were unable to attach themselves back to the Earth. Humans did nothing but destroy it. The Fae roamed through nature but did not necessarily praise nature as much. The only creature that could truly be bound to the wilds was the Were. Their soul ripped into two different shards. One being the vilest creature on Earth. The other allowing them the chance to express their ability to be free and untamed, something that no other human or supernatural creature could experience. This ability allowed the creatures to walk on two sides of the world, to see what others could not, and live like no other. It was a beautiful and terrifying thing- to have a creature harnessed within you. It was a responsibility that some could carry with grace and fineness. Others would fight and struggle to keep their wild side tamed or allow their other half to consume them entirely.

The oddly marked lupine was moving silently through the darkness blue-grey eyes noticing how the midnight painted sky seemed to suddenly lighten. Grey paws left hardly a track upon the emerald dewed grass. Grey trimmed ears would twitch back and forth atop her ebony cranium enjoying the peace that came with the morning. However, her movements were a bit stiff more than usual. There upon her shoulder was a long dried bloody wound that was slowly healing. Earlier that evening she had accidentally had a run in with a particular blonde Hunter. Thanks to her shadows she was able to protect herself after his speedy attack fleeing as swiftly as she possibly could. It would take time for this wound to heal, the blade being made of silver, and she was needing to rest. Throughout the night she stayed awake, making her trail twist around wanting to lead the Hunter to a dead end and far away from wherever she decided to rest. Coming along the clearing a soft whimper came from the she-wolf as she managed to lean her uninjured side into the tree allowing herself to take a break and rest, sitting up. As her eyes As the dawns light began to increase within the shadows she noticed an odd girl doing some sort of circling around, assuming it was nothing but a crazed Witch a snort left her cold nose, as she continued to watch waiting for the other to leave so she could be at peace for a change.
