South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Was cheese supposed to weigh this much? Sly grunted slightly as he adjusted the box within his arms. Attempting to maneuver between the bustling farmers markets, the throngs of people and the lines of food trucks was bordering upon an olympic sport. That box of shredded cheese within his arms felt heavier and heavier with every passing moment as the warlock made an effort to sidestep a wailing child and an overindulgent parent trying to soothe their offspring's ire with the promise of candy. The blond managed to find a small gap within the crowd, stepping down onto the road where the rows of food trucks were parked, the lines of people snaking away from them in a semi-orderly array. Now which one did this bloody box belong to? Sly shifted slightly in an effort to tug the scrap of paper with the delivery orders out of his pocket. His efforts to balance that box and read that paper were precarious at best and yet the crowd that milled around him made little effort to either assist or offer him any kind of space. Not that he'd expected them too. He'd worked customer service long enough to know not to expect anything from anyone. Sly's blue gaze managed to decipher at least some of the scrawl upon that piece of paper, the man making his way over to the truck he was mostly certain had ordered the cheese. Those breakfast burritos were by far one of the most popular meals of the morning, judging by the line and crowd that surrounded it and yet....hmmm.

Sly's gaze shifted to glance back across the road and towards several other trucks, the warlock's mind considering that veritable evidence in front of him before he shook the thought away. His fist lifted, that box once more balanced in one hand, to pound on the side of the food truck door only for the sweaty, flustered owner and chef to appear. Your bloody late. Well. That was a nice greeting. Sly's features frowned as he moved to hand that box over only for the owner to reach into his back pocket, tossing a few crumpled bills and several coins in Sly's direction- the majority of it raining down around the warlock and onto the ground. That distinct look of displeasure on Sly's face only seemed to increase as the man slammed that food truck door once more.

"Well thank fucking you too."

That irritable mutter easily echoed from the warlock's lips as Sly crouched down to begin collecting those few bills and scattered coins. Great. This was just how he wanted to start his day. Picking up coins from the damn gutter. If he didn't need that money so damn much he'd have walked away from it. It was that distinct sensation of being watched, however, that prompted the warlock's head to lift. His tousled blond locks threatened to fall into his eyes as his gaze met a young woman's own as she stood within the line for that food truck.

"What? You've never seen a man completely ignore his own pride to pick up change thrown at his head before?"

A faint flicker of amusement tugged at his features all the same. Sly snorted softly, his head shaking before he reached to grasp the last coin, tucking that money into his own pocket only for a distinct sense of....something to dance over his skin. His head rose once more as he stood, his gaze meeting the young woman's own again. She looked...hungover and yet that was hardly what prompted his gaze to narrow ever so slightly. A hunter. It had been years since he'd seen one last- and he'd been smart enough to make himself scarce then. Maybe he shouldn't have been so sarcastic towards her. His head nodded towards one of the food trucks across the other side of the road.

"That truck serves the same stuff as this one and that one is loads better. It's just newer so no ones given it a chance yet. Believe me, that truck deserves your money more than this one."

There. He'd helped her out. That would surely be enough to prevent her trying to shoot him in the back as he left right? Not that she seemed like she was about to launch into an attack mood. Hell, she probably just wanted breakfast like the rest of them.
