South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

The other Were was definitely still giving off vibes of "leave me alone," but Malia was a whole new kind of stubborn. Especially when it came to others of her kind. She couldn't help but wonder if he was lonely beneath the stoic mask he wore. Besides, she once knew what it was like to feel like she didn't belong anywhere. She had lived most of her life in her animal form, after all. Being feral was still a large part of who she was and some of her recognized the same kind of energy from him. She had noticed the cigarette in his fingers as she called his attention and couldn't help but wrinkle her nose every time she got a whiff of that potent smell she couldn't stand. How could he stick that to his mouth after smelling it? Was that sense damaged or something? For her, it was almost suffocating. She couldn't imagine actually inhaling that.

He watched her mostly and she was sure she was putting on quite the show. Yet, he didn't give her a lot to work with. Mostly he looked pissed off about everything she said or did, but Malia wasn't giving up. She noticed as the man wiped at his forehead. He seemed distracted somehow, like his mind was already on something else. Was he thinking about taking her up on the run offer? His flat decline made the woman scowl for a second, her gaze following the butt of the cigarette as he then flicked it into the fountain. Ew. At least she didn't have to live in that water. She was already onto the next phase of trying to get a reaction, using her power to morph into him. He didn't seem impressed at all, of course, only staring at her like he was actually studying his own features or something. Really? Was she being used as a compact mirror right now? So not what she was going for.

He did answer her though. She got a probably this time. A small grin spread across those lips in victory before sobering when she noticed he was getting up. And she knew he wasn't about to invite her to join him. What she wasn't expecting was for him to suddenly lean down toward her and ask why she'd want to pull it off. She blinked at him once, twice. "Because sometimes all you want to be is someone else." She still wore the face of the man before her, but her eyes met his with conviction as she waited to see his reaction.
