South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Anxiously, her tiny sharpened canines nibbled on her bottom lip as the lithe vampire closely hugged her perceived tree of protection. The dark chocolate hue of her gaze remained stationary upon the group of young men huddled around a park bench, one gliding in front of them on a skateboard, attempting to perform some sort of flipping trick that had resulted in him colliding with the concrete underfoot more than once. The teenagers certainly seemed harmless enough - Chizue entirely certain that they were human and yet, regardless of that assurance that she could quite visibly see, the once pop-star found herself hesitating even in spite of the hunger that clawed at her with such desperation. Once upon a time, this would have been easy for the psychic vampire. It should have still been easy for her. All she had to do was walk past them, perhaps accidentally bump into one of the boys and then she could have easily absorbed that fluttering, flickering, vibrantly glowing life force that surrounded them in all its shades. Instead, Chizue found herself cowering at the slightest consideration of encountering anyone. It had, admittedly, been several years since the young vampire's abduction and yet - in the wake of it, her coven had all but abandoned her, leaving the girl to fend for herself to face the nightmares that still polluted her waking mind.

It was the soft creek of chains that caused Chizue's attention to dart towards her left and the swings that moved with the gentlest touch from an unexpected presence. There was...a girl there. A child, really, by the looks of her alone. Chizue, however, was privy to far more than just that. The color of her aura was a deep, dark blue, the very depth of which spoke to the child's status as one of the undead. A child vampire. How very...rare. Or at least, they were exceedingly rare in Chizue's own limited experience with her own species. This one, in fact, was the first that she had ever even seen. For a moment of uncertainty, the demure woman's gaze shifted from the teenagers to the child and back again. Few vampires, she knew, were willing to share their kills, particularly when it came to outside their coven and yet...there was certainly enough to go around, wasn't there? At the very least, perhaps she could find safety in numbers in the event one of the boys happened to be associated with the Warlocks that Chizue lived forever in fear of. A soft, wavering breath left her lips before she nodded to herself, as if agreeing with her own perception of the situation before she left the safety of her tree. Her black mary janes clicked softly on the cement as Chizue crossed the sidewalk and moved towards the swingset, the teenage boys hardly even giving the pair of girls a wayward glance. "Excuse me...are you here...to hunt?" She inquired hesitantly as the demure Asian paused just to the right of the swing, careful to remain free from obstructing the child's path, her hands folding neatly in front of her if only to keep her nerves in check.
