The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

He knew there was no way she couldn't know the effect she was having on him. He felt like he was waving it around like a banner, a bubble around him that screamed his attraction. When their eyes met, he felt something in her change, something soften and that hope that was just flickering in his chest before started to blossom into something great and powerful. She still loved him. She still cared for him. She still wanted him. And suddenly all was right with the world. How could it not be, while the most perfect woman to ever walk the earth wanted to be with him still? After that moment in front of those double doors, Damon was sure he'd lost his wife for good. Not to the true death, but to his own ignorance, his own desperate need to control.
He'd never wanted anyone more but he knew with each and every time he put his eyes on his wife, that would never change. If anything, every time was like the first time, stronger than ever. Her fingers closed around his and he knew he would follow her anywhere, even to the gates of Hell themselves. He moved from the chair and followed in her wake, his hungry eyes settling on her tantalizing backside that she kept swaying so seductively in front of him. He could only hope he wasn't drooling...too much. She whispered that it was a surprise and all the vampire could think of to do was to smile. No words would come to him, but his happiness was obvious. In that moment, it wasn't important at all where they were going. He sat in the passenger seat, wholly unused to being on this side of a vehicle but he was willing to let her take the wheel. He kept stealing glances at her along the way, but she stayed stoic in her resolve, driving them deeper into the city.
They parked in front of a night club and Damon couldn't help the quirk of his brow as he glanced over at his wife. Did she bring him to see how many men he could kill? Cause surely that's exactly what would happen if anyone dared to touch her or look at her in any sort of way tonight. The way she was looking, she was asking for it. As if to prove his point, Damon couldn't help the growl that came from his throat when the door man swept his eyes over Isolt's figure when they reached the door. He didn't even have to call forth his fangs when Isolt nodded cause they were already down in a promise, his blue eyes daring the man to look at her again in that way. He was trying, of course, to be on his best behavior. That was the only thing that saved the man from a heartless chest that moment as Damon brushed past him to follow his wife into the club.
Once inside, he looked around in curiosity. The immortal didn't think he'd ever been in this particular club before. He watched the vampires dancing on the main floor, easily identifying the beating heart beats of the donors moving around in the throng. When his gaze turned back to the mesmerizing ginger beside him, he smirked as she leaned in to ask whether he wanted to dance or drink. His brow quirked as he slipped his arm around her waist and moved toward the floor. "What if I say both?"
