South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

the stars in their orbits

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Shoving Tobias had proven successful, though Nadya hadn't bothered to pay attention to how he would react, simply that she won and the snow leopard had been dropped. Her golden orbs surveyed the smaller feline, for a moment seeing that she was essentially unharmed though quite a bit shaken. This wouldn't be the welcoming party anyone would care for. Nadya's distraction came at a price, Tobias' discontent at her actions reaching her ears as the hiss escaped him, a firm well-placed paw striking her upside the head. Immediately Nadya flinched back, muscles tensing as anger coiled inside to replace the worry for the newcomer, her own lips peeling back to bare pearly white incisors, a loud spitting hiss ripping from her. She had never once been reprimanded in such a way, and though she didn't know she had been alpha in her biological pack, she had been raised as such in her adoptive one. Her own reflex as such, tail lashing angrily and ears pinned back against her skull, was to retaliate, lashing up to smack Tobias in return. She had never bowed before a male and never would; such was what her bloodline told her to do. The young were bound to clash due to this difference, this perhaps only a small insight on what was to come in the future.

Tetra's call was what broke through their miniature clash of the titan's reenactment. Both backed off, albeit Nadya more reluctantly, listening only because he ranked her simply by being her older brother. Her muscles refused to relax, still tense and singing for another round but she forced herself back onto her haunches, her narrowed gaze shifting from Tobias to her brother as he interrogated the newcomer. Tobias seemed bipolar on the situation, eager to forget the clash and move on to the prey in which he had brought in. Her normally good nature, while tainted somewhat at the moment, wasn't completely forgotten, her attention too moved back to the white spotted coat that entranced Tobias. The double entendre in Tobias' words were clear, there was more than one way to play and it caused a low growl to rumble in Nadya's chest again.

"Tetra, you know that's a stupid idea, we can't play Hunger Games with everyone we come across. You and Tobias have each other, would it be so bad for another girl that I could be around?"

Their approach was entirely too brutal in her opinion, allowing no natural charm to subdue, words to manipulate instead of claws. Nadya rose to her feet, shaking off her bad mood, her front paws shifting to stretch out her feminine form, tail swaying with ease above her frame, swaying but a few steps closer to the snow leopard, giving a small berth of space from Tobias and Tetra as she did so. The snow's voice was foreign within her mind, something not altogether pleasant or easy to focus on but she wished to show the males that this one could be of use other than a chew toy. If she was proved wrong then so be it, but it was always worth a try. Her own tone was silky while still carrying that undertone of authority that she called upon from her own birth right.

"You can see how sneaking around looks suspicious. Why don't we start with your name?"

Nadya Tetradore
