The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

"Alright, guys, time to call it a night." He yawned as he stretched his arms out above his head, trying to work out the rest of the kinks from being on his back under a car most of the day. The Civic still had a long way to go, but he knew he'd have it running again by tomorrow. He just needed to work out a few more kinks. Mrs. Agner depended on that car to get groceries with every week and Taylor wasn't about to let her miss bingo night with the girls. Smiling to himself as he lowered the hood and went to the sink to wash the oil off his hands, he waved goodbye to the other guys as they headed out before grabbing his motorcycle key off the toolbox. He was ready to grab a cold beer and something to eat then pass out for the night. He needed to get an early start on the Civic again tomorrow if he was going to finish it in time.
Running a hand through his hair, the man sighed as he turned the corner of the shop. The sidewalks were mostly empty around here by this time, unless you were heading to one of the local bars or clubs. He barely glanced at the group of girls who walked by in short skirts and tank tops, checking his phone for the fifth time. Still nothing. His mom was supposed to call him when she was able to get away and have lunch with him. She was just supposed to tell him a day and time. She was so busy with her shifts at the hospital but the ball was always in her court for getting away. Sighing, Taylor finished locking up the garage then headed to his bike, only to stop short. What was that? In the dying light as the sun went down, he could make out a small shadow sitting proud as can be on the seat of his Harley. Only once he blinked a few times and stepped closer, could he make out what it was. A cat.
The man couldn't help but smirk as he tilted his head and looked at the curious feline. It looked so happy with itself. Chuckling, he walked up to his bike and held out his hand, knowing better than to just pet a strange animal in case it wasn't friendly. "Hey there, stranger. Looking for a ride?"
