I wonder what it's like to be loved by you
Tetradore was hardly prepared for the sudden press of Mira's sweetheart lips against his own. That kiss seemed to hold an overwhelming excitement and appreciation, one the Alpha had not truly anticipated. Any words he might have uttered were cut off, swallowed by her lips. Her sudden suggestion for taking him out on a date only further caught the man off guard, the Were-King inclined to regard the woman with clear skepticism at the very idea. It seemed...against those traditional ideals that the hispanic had been taught to allow her to lead when it came to his infrequent and often lavish efforts to date her. Tetradore hardly turned down the idea, however, even if he didn't exactly seem thrilled to agree to it either. Rather, the corner of his lips twitched upward in a small glimpse of amusement. Mira's sudden inclination of affection was hardly over, however, as she threw her arms around his neck. She buried her face against his skin, her feminine figure pressed sweetly against the hard plains of his chest as he looked down at her. Her words of gratitude only furthered that rare simper upon the often stoic man's lips and gingerly, he leaned down just enough to press his lips sweetly against her forehead in an equally as uncommon glimpse of affection.
For several moments she lingered there before, slowly, the woman pulled away, her excitement keeping her from being still for too long. She seemed to almost dance towards the car awaiting her, keys tightly held in hand as she pressed the gray button on the key fob. The car chirped in response, its headlights flashing in visible indication of its doors unlocking. Mira was quick to slip into the supple leather seat of the driver's side, her fingers running over the steering wheel. Moments later, the driver's side window lowered smoothly and silently, the young woman sticking her head out the car door with a clear invitation to join her on her lips. A soft sigh echoed from Tetradore's mouth and yet...far be it from him to quelch the clear enthusiasm that radiated from her. Wordlessly, the Alpha acquiesced to her request, the man moving towards the passenger side door. He slid into the bucket seat beside her, listening as she carried on with unbridled joy, reveling over every facet of the vehicle that surrounded her. Mira paused in her palpable thrill, only to insist that she hardly required those ostentatious gifts Tetradore had a tendency to provide her. Innately, he knew this, of course, and yet the Were-King was equally as aware that he was also a distinctly difficult man to read. Those extravagant gifts were a vague attempt to make up for his often burdensome demeanor when life proved to overwhelm the Alpha.
To offer such an explanation, however, ventured into emotions that the man had little desire to reveal. His answer was, perhaps, just as cryptic and vague, suddenly prompting an audible concern within the girl's voice even if Tetradore hadn't meant it to. Before he could make any attempt to explain, however, Mira drew her own conclusions, querying after his intention to leave her. His head shook immediately, even if that answer was not one Tetradore could really promise. His life was so often balanced upon the edge of a knife, so easily capable of falling one way or another based upon the whims of one sadistic vampire. At the very least, the necklace that weighed heavily upon his chest swore he'd wake to see another day - though Tetradore knew his 'freedom' to create his own world was precariously granted. Still, such thoughts were ones he pushed from his mind, those concerns he had no intention to share. "No, no, I just mean....things will be busy when we get back so....I might not be around....as much?" It sounded a particularly pathetic excuse to his own ears and yet, the Alpha could only help she'd buy it...that she might grasp the very core of his words was that he cared even if he hated to voice that particular sentiment.
She fell silent in the wake of the Were-King's words, a small frown visible upon her features as she seemed to consider them, only to quite literally shake her head and those thoughts aside. A tease easily fell from Mira's lips as she chased away her somber concerns with something far more lighthearted. The very comparison to the vehicle's logo and the animal within the Were-King was a barb he really should have anticipated, and yet the man could hardly help rolling his eyes as he threatened to leave entirely. A feminine laughter left her lips as she quickly raised her hands in defeat, insisting she was done. Oh, how Tetradore hardly believed that! His brow rose as he stared at her dubiously, only for the Alpha to shake his head, his eyes rolling a second time. The musical sound of Mira's laughter seemed to die off, her fingers chasing the silhouette of the feline upon the steering wheel, her features turning far more...contemplative before her golden eyes turned towards him. Her hand reached out for his, her fingers threading between his own before her voice dropped to a soft whisper, her words, however, prompted a suspicious glance from the Alpha as she suggested some 'other' way to ensure she hardly 'forgot'. Mira quite clearly had something on her mind, though Tetradore could hardly discern what as he watched her bring his hand to her mouth. Her lips brushed tenderly against his knuckles before she spoke again, her breath warm against his flesh. The very suggestion for someplace else caused the man to regard her almost...inquisitively before his head slowly nodded in agreement. "Where did you have in mind?" He inquired, willing, for tonight, to indulge his girlfriend in her heart's desires.
