South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The question about her love life caused a smirk to toy upon the lips of the man she had turned into, unable to hide that something amused her even though it was not voiced out loud. Oh, how she thought that she was the one who had liked to pry even though that question was hidden behind a teasing demeanour. "There is certainly trouble." Her usually accented voice was still concealed with that American english dialect, something so far from the feminine lilt of her actual voice. She could not help that soft giggle, strange sounding given the timbre, even to her own ears even though she wore that other form like a perfect mask to wear like a veil of anonymity. It was so very clear she was not as she appeared.

Yet he continued to speak of the contents in that paper dangling it like a carrot before a horse, intentional or not. She was unsure if it was only to tease her more or if it was a hint of something accusatory, she hardly knew. The shapeshifter was clearly unbothered by it and more curious about the true question along with the potential travesty of that actually making the news. A peeping tom? Was there more to it?"Of all the things they could write about. I cannot decide what is worse. That it made the news or that the person was not very good, for starters." She admitted breezily. Then again, humans were bad at a lot of things. Of course, she assumed it was a human who got arrested, vampires would not get caught unless they wanted to.

It was the way that the fellow vampire spoke to her next had caused the vampire shifter to frown, causing a deep crease within the forehead of the 'meatsuit' she wore. He was making fun of her. Now that would be incredibly mean. He questioned without offering her any admittance that he was in fact doing so. "Hmph." She added indignantly. She remembered the last boy who made fun of her with distinctly vivid clarity. Fortunately, she was far more fixed on something else... drawn to that newspaper in his hands. That cursed newspaper seemed to ensnare her and she couldn't seem to help it, couldn't shake it away. Of all the things for those obsessive claws to sink into. Vampires were finicky creatures and how she learned to dance along the tightrope well enough and yet he had been around much longer than she. That and he was.... Entertaining. It certainly wouldn't hurt to play, if he would bite.

It was the simple mention of what he would get in return for that knowledge she wanted. Of course, everyone wanted something. It was the way the world worked even if she had found ways around it. She was not at all surprised he wanted something. But her offer was an interesting one, appealing to most people's standards, she was sure. After all, her affinity did bring about an unhealthy amount of curiosity should they ever find out about her 'talents' of shape-shifting. What form would he choose? That could have potentially said more about him than he ever revealed to her. Although, it was interesting that he asked if she could be an object. An object! For a moment she all but stared at the blond vampire who seemed to play a game all of his own. How dreadfully fun. Maybe he was into something bizarre? Morgan could only hope. "No, not objects." How she always found that it was odd that she could shapeshift her appearance and her clothing but not a simple object? It was a little maddening to say the least. "Maybe in another couple hundred years. All I need is a picture, or a video and my magic will do the rest." She said plainly. Objects were boring. People.. Now that was much more interesting. Those eyes that had suddenly bloomed right before his very eyes into a bright, striking electric blue, an unintentional showcase of power.

That minor 'obsession' was the nucleus of her mind at that current moment. Enough of the waiting, she wanted to know... now. She accused him of lying about that article within that paper within his hands, simply to have him show his hand. He claimed he had that article full memorized. "Is that so? Then prove it." She rose a hand to bring a finger to her lips to tap it in consideration of the man sitting adjacent to her on that bench, unsure if she was willing to take his word for it. How disappointing if he were lying. It had been a long time since she had last been gullible and yet these obsessions could get the best of her. How well she knew this.

Those teasing words where he could begin only latched those annoying hooks further in even despite her doubt that a newspaper could be pearl clutching. "What is this nitty-gritty you mention? We can start wherever you would like, or you can give me that paper and let me read it for myself." She stated simply, her electric blue gaze still intent upon him, her body shifted to face his as she waited for him to speak. How unladylike this conversation was... perhaps it was best that she was a man for it.
