South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Isolt's curiosity and confusion regarding the subject of "packs" is perhaps purely academic, for there is no even vaguely realistic scenario in which this young man could be serious. At least to the mind of the youthful vampire. They are but strangers to one another, life having never sought to weave the respective threads of their lives until moments prior; and so, for this disheveled boy to find it within himself to offer her such unadulterated acceptance is nearly unnerving in its innocence. Acceptance, after all, had been a much fabled thing in the weeks since her untimely transcendence from one life into the next. It would seem that now in the eyes of all supernatural beings who had so long been conditioned to both loathe and fear her, that Isolt was merely another fanged savage to be kept at a distance with watchful eyes and a ready stake. It was a dynamic crafted over the span of centuries that the young woman had not yet come to fathom.

What does succeed in penetrating the miasma of doubt and affliction within which Isolt has undoubtedly gone astray is this purity of innocence. Her own innocence, once so very much a part of her true self, had been cast so far into the ether that even this small display coaxes a smile to her cherry lips. "Okay," she lilts, though in the brutally honest privacy of her own heart Isolt holds so very little faith in the musings of this young man. No further words are offered as he makes to stow away his would-be treasures, the entire parade of plastic farm animals tucked away into the myriad compartments of his trousers. The softened tips of Isolt's fingers peruse her own charge, the action itself so timid, so gentle, that it may very well have proven involuntary.

A painful knot clenches itself against the tube of her windpipe at the repeated mention of the vampire bar that lingers as some ever-present demon in the shadows of her waking hours. The young woman nearly protests his proclamation, but his quite evident willingness to return to that dreaded place seemed far too ironclad to be dissuaded by the likes of one wayward redhead. Instead she is left with naught but the crippling heft of her own anxious hope that fate would see fit to deal him a far kinder hand than it had bestowed upon her within the darkened corridors of Risque's abode. A saddened smile digs its salacious creases into the pallor of her façade at his question. For a time she can but nod, crimson curls swinging luxuriously, alight even beneath the shroud of the night's deceitful dark. "Of course. I'm sure we'll see one another again sometime," Isolt whispers, the hushed syllables hardly betraying the marked lack of confidence in what she speaks. She parts from him then, her haste dictated by the steadily lightening sky and the foreboding tingle upon her skin that tells of the coming dawn.
