South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Her little shop had been thriving of late, her customers tending to become familiar faces at the discovery of the true magic that filled the colorful vials Serafina sold. What had once started as a last desperate measure soon became an addiction for many that frequented the Edge of the Circle and Serafina was keen to profit off of their needs. Unfortunately, her healthy stack of commissions required ingredients that were not all easy to acquire, leaving the woman seeking...unusual means to meet her needs. A soft breath left her lips as she stood in front of the large, cast iron gates of the local Sacrosanct zoo. Her stormy gaze traced the fanciful filigree that kept the zoo animals safe from any outside poachers that might have sought the exotic animals. The cameras trained on the entrance had already been dealt with, leaving the pair of female 'thieves' with but the door to handle. Although the young witch was not particularly fond of her companion's utilization of telekinesis upon her...it was the most effective way to breach the zoo without leaving obvious destruction in her wake.

Her arms crossed over her chest as her gaze cut towards the woman beside her, "Yes, I remember, Raven." She responded, clearly waiting for that familiar feeling of weightlessness. It came mere moments later, her feet levitating smoothly off of the cement as she was lifted into the air, the pair levitating over the swirls that decorated the top of the gates and brought gingerly down with a soft thump on the other side. Cautiously, Serafina's gaze swept the immediate vicinity as the pair successfully managed to 'break and enter' into the local zoo. Really, she thought the zoo would have more...intense security then this. Perhaps she might offer to create a magical barrier for them to prevent thieves beside herself from coming and going. It would be a rather ingenious way to explain her frequent coming and going all whilst keeping such rare ingredients to herself. A small simper crossed her features at the thought, though it soon was tucked away as Raven approached her with a pamphlet quickly being unfolded in her hands.

Serafina shifted closer towards her companion to glance over the colorful illustrations, her brows furrowing in thought as she pointed out the three habitats they needed to visit for the evening. "Yes, peacock feathers should do well, they recently got two baby ocelots so we should be able to find and pick up their baby teeth and I need fur from...these." Serafina pointed towards the habitat of the binturong on the map. "They shed quite a lot so it should be relatively easy to get." Three parts capable of being gotten without any damage done to the animal and no one being any wiser. "We could start at the peacocks, head to the back of the zoo where the ocelots are, and then loop around to the binturongs and that should pop us back out over here." She pointed to the path on their right, "Near the penguins." And, most importantly, the very gates they stood behind at the present moment. It was a relatively solid plan...presuming the animals would cooperate. Most, after all, should be within their indoor habitats for the night, leaving their enclosures relatively free for their perusal. "Come on." Serafina glanced up to easily locate the path towards the peacocks. "This way." She was entirely confident as she led the way through the darkened pathways of the zoo, her eyes peeled for any janiters or night zookeepers that might raise the alarm. After all, they had quite a lot to do before sunrise.
