South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

When the last moon is cast over the last star of morning
And the future has passed without even a last desperate warning

The celestial blue of the maiden's gaze remained focused upon the Dun stallion as he pranced energetically along the fence line. The brief flick of her ears upon her head were the only acknowledgement she gave to the smooth, baritone voice that pressed within her thoughts, those words passing wholly unheeded by the ethereal unicorn. Ah, how her steed's competitor seemed...ill inclined to share what he thought was his prize! The mere proximity of the ivory stallion to her was enough to prompt the smaller steed to lunge in a territorial need to chase off the perceived threat. The very action demanded her stallion's attention, his distinctiveness all but evaporating as he wheeled away from the fence, his hand leg solidly landing against the wood with a resounding thud. The shuddering of the fence line hardly went unnoticed by the Dun, he in turn retreated to the comfortable sanctuary of the middle of his paddock, his steps a highly embellishing prance in a keen effort to allure the pearlescent mare. Aislinn stepped back from the fence line, content to watch the display before her with a keen eye. Her head rose upward in a presentation of her own unyielding pride, the mare well aware of just how valuable she was to any of their kind. What horse would not want to spend the night with one such as herself?

There was a blatant hint of humor within her steed's voice, his thoughts pressing again into her mind, even if she rewarded them with the same aloof silence as before. Aislinn, after all, was not one terribly inclined to forgive, not when she was still yet undecided if he deserved her grace. The very agitation her silence provoked was nearly palpable within the ivory steed! His lashing tail inclined to give away his irritation as he strove so earnestly to provoke any reaction at all within the ethereal maiden! It was only his final query that prompted Aislinn to break her once resolutely held silence, the Queen all but refusing to allow him even the slightest hint of satisfaction as she insisted she had not come to see him. Her symphonic voice pressed delicately into his mind before the maiden moved from her poised position, her footfalls equally as smooth and effortless as she glided around the outskirts of the dun steed's pen. Her every movement was purposeful, forcing both stallions to move in an effort to keep up with her. It was, perhaps, petty of her to demand from the ivory male a clear display of his interest within her, beyond those barbed, haughty words. It pleased her, to watch him finally yield to her, his steps breaking out into a swift trot as he covered the small distance to the back of his paddock, clearly waiting for her.

Her gait finally slowed as she reached the point in the fenceline between the two stallions. His query of her affinity rewarded him with a wayward glance from the immaculate mare, before her head once again lifted in pride, the woman ill-inclined to inform him of her capabilities. His astute gaze turned towards the steed in the pen beside his, the stallion bucked and pranced within his paddock in a fantastical display of energetic finesse, so clearly showing off his fit figure. Aislinn hardly provided him an even second glance, however, now that she had healed him from the unfortunate injury at the hands of that callous, maleficent leech. Her thoughts, for the moment, were subsided by the mere presence of the large Draft, the steed moving alongside the fence in every effort to keep her slow, purposeful pace. It was only his newest, peculiar query that prompted her to pause, albeit temporarily. "What?" She inquired, oblivious to the stallion's train of thought as he inquired after some obscure gift of foresight. The velveteen sound of his voice hardly dissipated as he continued on without hesitation, only to insist that she must have foreseen the abuse the Dun was subjected to, lest she merely followed the race for little reason. A soft, though nonetheless audible huff left the opalescent maiden's nose, the woman inclined to roll her eyes if she was so capable of showing her exasperation.

The very notion was fanciful - that she might only be interested in the race for him alone! Oh, how full of himself he was! Even if he strove to pretend otherwise! The Draft hardly paused, however, barreling onward in what he surely perceived as some ingenious effort to corner her into unveiling some..obsession with him! As if he was worth her time when he had yet to even prove he was the horse she'd seen in the sky! "You think too highly of yourself, wingless stallion." She retorted, her gait once again picking up that same, effortless glissade as his heavier steps again strove to evenly match her own. He hardly seemed finished, however, the Draft almost bordering upon talkative now as he insisted his...'Alexander' had found her footsteps. Her gaze shifted briefly towards him, though she chose not to comment upon such a finding. After all, it wasn't as if she had made much of an effort to hide her presence, nor did she see why it mattered terribly for his rider to find her prints in a veritable sea of others. Nevertheless, she listened as the ivory steed informed her he had spoken of the events of their last meeting to his rider, the man seemingly of the belief that she was somehow little more than some measly con-artist! "Men can rarely fathom that which--" She started, hardly prepared for the sudden touch that all but halted those syllables pressing sweetly into his mind. The Celtic Queen all but wheeled backward and away from him, only to stare at the steed in a look near akin to horror that he might strive to take so many liberties with her! The nerve of him! "Why you!" Her words had gained an almost venomous seething tone to them, nearly thrown into his mind with a resounding forcefulness as he regarded her with some sort of self-righteous smugness!

His interjection of his name, and his insistence of her apparent stalking, while not wholly untrue, at first, was enough to finally prompt some reaction from the Unicorn, her hoof stamping angrily upon the ground underfoot. "For your information, Frost, I happen to watch the races come through every year - they always follow the same path but last year's winner at least had more manners then you." An irritable snort left the mare's nose as she reached the very end of that fenceline, only to pause as her attention returned briefly to the steed behind the fence, Aislinn certain to leave enough distance that any other further stolen touches were all but impossible. "What do you want as your prize for winning? Pegasus or not, you are just like the other unicorns and I no longer wish to grace you with my presence."

Then look into the sky where through the clouds a path is torn
Look and see her how she sparkles
it's the last unicorn
