South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

With the loss of his comrade, the blonde German didn't have control on the matter anymore, and it would be best if he tucked his tail in between his legs and run very far and very fast. Though with his injury it would seem that he wouldn't be able to run on all fours. As his icy blue eyes glared menacing daggers at the redheaded vampire, his face chiseled with hatred shifted into a look of horror. His attention moved towards the behemoth that continued to shake his comrade's limp form side to side. The sound of flesh ripping, the spine snapping from the force of the swing and the sharp teeth squeezing the body, with the agonizing holler coming from the victim all came together to become a gruesome sympathy that only death could conduct. Nothing and no would could save the brunette plump man. He was clenched tightly in the jaws of goliath sized lupine. The feral creature would unceremoniously drop the corpse, as the blonde would screech in utter horror, but the creature's attention was on the wounded female. Females were already the weaker sex. Her feral mind assuring her of such things, the law of nature becoming her compass, and weakness was not something she could tolerate. As she stepped further towards the vampire, her sane mind struggled to take some form of control, and only a glimmer of knowing could be seen in the lupine's crazed eyes. Her tense frame would start to slack at the soft words that slipped from the lips of the blue-eyed undead creature. The weakened vampire was a friend, an ally, and she was hurt...but not useless. Already she could see the wound attempting to heal itself, ever so slowly from the lack of nourishment, and so the lupine would brush her side gently. A signal perhaps that she would be spared. Though the sound of the fellow Werewolf caught her attention and she would protectively place herself beside the vampire should he decide to do something foolish. All Raven could see in the wounded boy was everything that represented her elusive hate for her own blood.

She was raised in such a horrific way that no one, no matter species or gender should ever be subjected to, and yet her own family would perform such acts. She believed everything they said their mental abuse influencing her understanding. Each time someone came along and attacked her she wouldn't fight back, accepting their physical abuse, allowing each mark on her flesh to be a sign that she deserved such harsh treatment. Everyone needs support and love to nurture them into a strong person of character, but all she received was hatred and hostility their emotional abuse shaping her to accepting her fate. It was by some miracle the young woman did not share the same hatred and give hostility to others, her moral compass was strong, even if her self-confidence was shattered. Isolt would be the first and only person to stick up for her in front of family, even though they were sister pack- they were related, and it allowed Raven to see something for the first time. What she was wasn't her fault and that she didn't have to be treated in such a way, but Isolt's injury was what broke the camel's back. Deep down she knew everything her pack and sister pack was doing to her, was wrong, but it was something she understood and accepted a terrible form of twisted possession. It takes years and help to reduce her thought process from heavy conditioning, and she had Isolt to thanks for the help. Telling her cousin that she didn't need him or the provisions her sister pack provided was simply the first step into her path of leaving it all behind and being free. The blonde man shuffled to get to his feet, still clutching to her injured arm as his venomous words held a promising threat.

"No more will we take care of you. From here on out you are on your own...and should any of us see you, you will be killed on the spot."

With one last spiteful glare at the duo he shuffled off, heading back to where he belonged. Invisible chains seemed to unlock on the black furred monster. Whatever hold she believed her sister pack held on her was simply gone. Blood wasn't important to her anymore. The need to belong to the closet thing she had left of a family wasn't needed. Rigid form would begin to slacken as one grey trimmed ear flickered towards the order Isolt gave. Somber eyes stayed locked on the figure until she could not see anymore. Her dial would lower, slightly, the heavy weight on her shoulders filled with guilt and remorse was such a difficult thing to carry all these years, and all she had to do was simply turn around and let it fall to the ground. But it is always scary to drop something she always knew and believed in. A conversion was stirring inside the creature, her whole world was crashing down all around her, and she was being offered a second chance of some sort. Muttering softly her fractured mind began to unravel as feral mind and sanity began to intermix once more, a garbled chant that could be heard by the other.

"Hurt...used...pain...bad...trapt...hurt...used...pain...bad...trapt...hurt...used...good...free."

The last word seemed to stir the she-wolf into shaking out of her inner turmoil. The mantra seemed to have worked somehow. Her damaged mind still held minor control and Raven could feel herself coming back. Lifting her head she would look over at the last spot she had saw her cousin, and as she turned around she felt all that damaged and harmful weight suddenly roll off her shoulders. As of now the young woman believed what her pack did to her was wrong, she did not see herself as the terrible thing her pack believed her to be, but that didn't mean she could simply forget all their wrong doings. She was damaged and it would take much longer to come over those damages that raked her form both physical and mental. Walking back towards Isolt , her larger form would brush up against the girl. Skull tilted downwards to be at the same level of the other's head, noticing how smoke appeared around her wound as the silver bullet left the cold skin. The soft apology was answered with a soft whimper. She was alone and she did not have anywhere else to go. Sure she could go back to the house, but it wouldn't be safe for long, and she knew she would have to get Alexis out of there. One long pink tongue stuck out from her muzzle as she gently licked the side, or in this case Isolt's entire face, sadden eyes looking down at the other. Softly she whispered to the vampire, her eyes stayed steady on her for a moment, as if searching for something.

"You...won't leave...stay? I can go with you...to find food"

After all, Isolt had done far more than was ever asked. The least Raven could do was accompany her and help make her better. Food was a way for friends to bond over.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
