South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Nadya had began to think that all the Weres had skipped town or at least were stereotypical and only wandered to the outskirts at night. Her form had slowly lowered to the ground to bask in the gentle rays that eventually filtered down from the slow passing of the sun. At long last her sensitive ears caught the sound of crunching leaves below paws made noticeable due to the grasshoppers and cicadas lowering their note in caution as the predator passed. Slowly Nadya opened her sun drunken yellow eyes to peer over at Raven as she approached in all her canine glory. It was true that the two Weres were not enemies but they were hardly more than acquaintances either, having actually seen each other only three times and one under not so pleasant circumstances of requiring stitches.

The touch of the canine's mind against hers was foreign and caused her to have to concentrate unlike the ease of communication with the familiar bond of her pack. What Raven could possibly have to say, so randomly, Nadya wasn't sure. Maybe Alexis needed another outing and Raven was being too hermit again. Nadya didn't move from where she lay sprawled on her side but she did maintain eye contact, ever vigilant of the wolfs proximity and the nervous tendency of the wolfs pawing. Very rarely was Nadya given to animosity towards others, Tobias aside as no matter what the two did it was always claws and teeth and yelling, but wolves held a certain distrust due to her past. "Go ahead." Although she was sure Raven didn't need a formal invitation to speak her mind Nadya gave her one anyways.

The topic Raven brought up was no light matter. Nadya was briefly aware of the recess in her mind of the familiar pack bond opening up. Each connection with a pack member was different and with this one it held no brotherly touch so she knew it was Tobias. Somewhere nearby he lurked, perhaps terrorizing some sqùirrel into a heart attack. She had left the apartment to get away from him but like a boomerang, or a bad rash, he always followed her. Nadya's slight irritation with always being followed was quickly and easily overpowered by her dislike with what Raven had to say. Nadya rose back to her sitting position, her gaze ceasing their quick scan of the surrounding forest to rest on Raven. "My brother has a habit of getting into trouble lately and is also polite to women. He would only invite you to be polite since you were both in trouble; he didn't really mean it. I don't see a problem...you'll just tell him no."

There was no anger in her words, just a stated matter-of-fact, her ebony head tilting ever so slightly to regard Raven, as if daring her to refute her words. It was extremely rare to see a mixed pack in the first place but what bothered Nadya was that her brother would invite someone without talking to her and Tobi about it, asking them and involving them in the decision. Tetra was Alpha, yes, but her and Tobi were the Betas, though Tobi would do whatever Tetra said, and a new member in a pack was no light matter. You just didn't go inviting just anyone all willy nilly.
