South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

My Own Form Of CHAOS

My smirk widens at her words but I'm able to paint a smug look on my face for a second before snorting.

"You could try, honey. Let's just say fire's not my weakness, not anymore."

It's pretty nifty to have powers, especially when said powers can make you damn near invincible. I may not be powerful against all attacks yet but it'll come in time. I can feel it. I shrug.

"None the less, I appreciate the gesture. I hope you keep your promises."

I offer a playful wink as I twirl the ring before putting it on my finger. She seems to be watching me but she also looks thoughtful. Is she trying to figure me out or something else? She acknowledges my name with a nod before pointing at a rock. She tells me what she wants me to do and I hold up the ring bearing hand, letting the ring catch the moonlight as I look at it. It looks like a regular old ring. Maybe a bit more shiny. Finally I move over toward the rock, glancing at her with a lazy smirk before I pull my arm back and punch at the rock. It shatters into a million pieces but I scowl before turning back to her.

"I could probably do that without the ring. I need something more...sturdy."

I glance around before finding a tree. Grinning as the idea hits me, I start over toward the large oak and stand before it before turning to her.

"Think I can uproot this? Hope this ring has enough juice."

I look up at the tree, sighing as I gather my wits and my strength. I wrap my arms around the trunk, or as much as I can wrap them around it and then I start pulling. I strain at first before something seems to click and then I slowly feel the tree moving. I can hear the roots tearing free of the ground and I actually have a moment of surprise that it's actually working. Sure, I'm strong, but I'm not that strong. I manage to uproot the whole tree and I grunt as I drop it to the ground. It makes a loud noise as the branches hit the ground and I look over toward her, a "huh" noise leaving my throat as I run a hand through my hair and turn back to her.

"Guess that thing really works. I bet you could sell these for good money."

I pull the ring off and turn if over in my hand, admiring it for a minute before I step back toward her, offering it on my palm. See? I can be a nice guy when I want to be.

"Thanks for letting me test it out."
