South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
In truth, Serafina was hardly surprised at the rather pathetic response she had received to her reveal of her life. His grunt brought only a shrug to her shoulders, a grin still finding it's place upon her lips despite the direction the conversation had turned. His inquiry, however cause a snort to leave her nose, her features brightening quite abruptly as laughter bubbled from her lips. "Do you know what witches actually do? Or do you just push us all into the same prejudice category?" Her inquiry was void of the gentleness provided within his, instead laced with pointed sarcasm. "Of course I know what hunters do. You hunt and kill my kind. We're a plague on the world. Completely uncontrollable right?" Her stormy eyes shifted upwards to him, her fingers reaching up to toy with her ebony locks. "However, I am quite certain if you were going to kill me, you would have done so already. But you haven't and I think that is a curious thing for both of us, no?" At the very least, the young witch was quite perceptive, having already pinpointed that he seemed to be equally as baffled as she was by his lack of decision to pick up a blade and plunge it in her heart - not like it would have done the world any great service.

She let the silence befall upon them again, wandering as slowly as she could manage down the sidewalk, purposefully lagging when it came to returning home. Home had quite the questionable sentiment attached to it. Unlike most, her home wasn't a place of sanctuary. It was merely a roof over her head, an opportunity that she couldn't leave. It was a prison but having lived on the streets, she found it vastly more acceptable then the alternatives. Her attention shifted towards him at the sound of his voice, her attention once again befalling upon him. The corner of her lips pressed together as his voice died off, having decided that whatever sentence that was about to leave his mouth required further thought. She tried not to pressure him though, instead finding herself quite exasperated that they had reached her Eastern side abode. She paused in front of him, watching the lackadaisical fashion at which he rested his spine against the near by street light. Despite his efforts to dissuade her from ever using her new found power again, Serafina paid him no heed. She'd finally found something she could do. Something she wanted to get better at and would continue to practice....though maybe not on him.

Her gaze remained steadfast, her eyebrow raising ever so slightly at his determination to remain nothing more then her enemy. She stared back at him simply, offering no reaction what-so-ever. There was no anger there, no sadness, though maybe, if he looked hard enough, he might have caught a flicker of the stubbornness that made up the witch. Her head tilted to the side in a studious fashion as he looked pointedly away from her. There was something he wasn't telling her, something that Serafina knew surely contributed to his decision to allow her to live. Never the less she reached out to slowly take the card he'd offered, her fingers running over the edges of it as she looked at the number written on it. "For what it's worth..." She started quietly, her gaze still settled on the card in her hands, "I don't think you're a jerk. i think you've just forgotten what it's like to lo--" She caught herself, instead offering a shrug, choosing not to continue. Serafina shook her head, "Just forget it. Enjoy the rest of your evening off." Serafina offered the male a small, sad simper before turning on her heels, moving up the steps and disappearing into the dark interior of the house.
