South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I-I'M NOT WHO YOU THINK I AM.

South
Do you ever stop to wonder if they love you?
When you look into the mirror do you see the truth?
D-Do the voices in your head still got you confused?
Do they make you wanna say...
I-I'm not who you think I am.
Regan supposed she was lucky in a sense. Where Raven had been born to a pack, with a pack mentality. With the need to engage and be loved by others of her kind. Not that she had gotten it, but the act of wanting was engraved into her very DNA. Regan on the other hand, was born of a solitary race. She had never yearned for the companionship of others like her. She had thrived in the darkness of her 'cage'. She learned to adapt and become as silent as the shadows that protected her. Of course, that knowledge and acceptance had come later. Long after the humanity of her six year old self lay mutilated at her feet.

There is a shame to Raven's sadness that Regan doesn't understand. She likely never would. The idea of going feral...of losing control is a foreign concept to the girl who never loses. Can't lose it. Has fought to keep some semblance of it her entire life. To lose it...to let it slip away...even accidentally is simply...unthinkable. She doesn't condemn Raven for it. Doesn't think less of her as she accepts this truth about the wolf-girl. No. Regan would never judge Raven for any act of violence. Never. Instead she offers her the silence of her acceptance. It's a simple thing to Regan, to overlook this 'flaw' in Raven's design. It is simply another piece of her and who was she to condemn her for it? When Raven killed she had no control over it. When Regan killed...she delighted in it. Therein lay the difference.

The ebony tiger expressed a garbled purr into the silvery fur of the wolf she was wrapped around. Hoping this act of physical contact enabled Raven to feel safe. Comforted. Something neither of them had felt in a long time. Not truly. Her time with Tobi was different than this. For Tobi would never understand Raven's torment of this quite like Regan could. The duo shared something dark and tormented in their pasts. A nightmare etched into their skin. A reminder. As if they could ever forget. "They should have known better Raven than to treat you like that. Anyone like that. A mind can only be pushed so far...an animal even more so. You reacted the only way you knew how. You surrendered yourself to your baser instincts and your wolf protected you. Vindicated you. And in the end she slaughtered them so you would know they could never harm you again." Regan pauses, nuzzling the wolfs side. "I think when you go feral now, it is because you have suppressed a great many things and those things don't simply go away because you don't acknowledge them. They fester and grow. Spread in the darkness of your mind until there is no room left and your wolf is left with no choice but to explode." The girl smiles, a great showing of teeth and fang. "You are quite the remarkable being."

After a long silence and Raven's newest question, Regan cannot help thinking of the emerald eyed man. Tetradore. There was something about him that called to her. To join a pack though? She'd never considered it to be honest. How many tigers do you see living in close quarters? Not many. Families excluded of course. The thought of sharking space makes a shiver run down her spine. Then again... Her mind conjures an image of Tetradore and Tobias and she smiles mentally. Perhaps...perhaps it wouldn't be all bad. "Yes." A long pause, a lingering mental smile to warm her words with affection. "I think I'd like that Raven. In the morning we'll go find them. For now...rest and I'll keep watch over you." The tiger snarled into the darkness. A warning to everything lingering in the shadows to keep their distance. Tonight...tonight was a night for peaceful dreams.
