South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Being part animal had its advantages. For one thing the ability to survive seemed to be enhanced for a person that shared the mind and thought process of an animal. To shed skin and run around in fur, feathers, or scales was such a rewarding thing. Here in this form one could blend in to their surroundings. Freedom could be felt when one walks the earth in a completely different form. The ability to change face or persona was so much easily attainable. Yet there were disadvantages as well. Being part animal meant that their habits would combine with your own. A cat as a human will still have the occasional need to lick themselves, or rub up against another person or object for claim. Don't be surprised when a Were-Horse munches on sugar absentmindedly or you see a human scratching its back as if it were a Bear- rubbing their itchy back against some sort of tall and rough object. There was also the tendency that some individuals were accustomed to acting as their animalistic counterpart against their will. So was the case for Raven. Being in her feral state of mind that the kind, easy-soul of the curly-haired woman was replaced with some sort of unrecognizable beast.

It cannot be said whether it was a good thing or a bad thing that the fairy had not taken the flight response and simply ran away from the massive sized wolf. Those massive paws and long legs could easily give the wolf an edge during the chase and allow the wolf to do much damage to simply cause the fairy to stop. As her black lips remained pulled back to show off those deadly pearly whites she would stand there waiting and studying her new found prey. Her feral side had hardly been able to hunt in such a long time and she wanted to savor every moment. As the girl spoke that massive head titled to the side curiously not understanding why her prey wasn't doing as all prey was supposed to do- cower and run away. Stretching her neck some those stony narrowed eyes locked on the hand that the girl stretched out. A warning low growl rumbled like thunder as that hand seemed to get closer and closer. With a quick snap her teeth would snap at the hand, but she would miss the hand and catch the swirl of leaves that Davante had tossed between the wolf and delicate fairy's hand. Taking a tentative step towards the fairy her head would lower as her massive frame seemed to curl around the fairy in a protective manner- to keep her safe from the warlock...when in all honesty that fairy should be running towards the warlock for safety.

"Miiinneee"

A low gargled hiss slipped harshly in both fairy and warlock's mind. That raspy gargled word a complete struggle for the feral creature. Words were never its strong suit. One long pink tongue would slip out and roughly go up slowly against the girls' side to her face. Enjoying the taste of the girl. Those blue-grey eyes shifting towards the warlock in a challenging manner as her jaw parted once more to show off her teeth in a defensive manner to the earth-wielder. Gargled words slipped into their minds as the wolf declared just what exactly the fairy would become. Indeed it would seem those very large teeth she had were ideal when it comes to eating this innocent soul.

"Shhee...will bee...food."
