South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Socialization was something she was not accustomed to. Raven could only refer to what she understood as normal society functions through books. Reading books was not just a hobby. It was the only way she was capable of experiencing freedom, educating herself on whatever topic enticed her, seeing how characters would treat one another. Of course she had to take into consideration that the actions or reactions characters had with one another should be held with a grain of salt. Not everything in books were correct. Why in two completely different books the characters were going through the same problem and both had different ways of reacting to it. Both had their good and bad reasons and it allowed Raven to see that relationships were not straightforward and simple...they were complicated. So far she had experienced what it was like to have a few friends, how it was difficult to balance spending time with every single one, and figuring out how best to make them happy. Not to mention she was having a severely difficult time trying to establish some sort of relationship with the raven-haired witch that seemed to increasingly grow in disgust with her. Raven had no idea whether to ignore that annoying need to be around Serafina and keep her safe or simply allow her charge to be alone. That's how she acted and the she-wolf was getting extremely irritated about it. Yet right now she did not need to concern herself with those individual and the tether that binds her to them. Right now she was opening and creating a brand new, unknown, relationship with the abnormal leopard. With Tobias explaining his view about their newfound relationship she felt it was perfectly okay to fill in the missing pieces. Though she was unaware that it would come back around and bite her. As he shook his head bringing his arms defiantly over his chest she would tilt her head up in a puzzled manner unsure if she had said something incorrectly. Though when he declared they couldn't have sex because Tetradore said no, Raven simply just went rigidly still.

Sex. There was no way she had mentioned, ever, that she was willing to do such a thing. Raven was explaining and not telling him they had to. She was sure there were steps. There had to be. Most of her books didn't really discuss it, it was always implied. Every now and then she would read the characters furthering their relationship together, but that was only after they completed certain steps. The only characters that would jump on their significant other were the characters that were not important, or bad, and really who would want to be like those characters. Blue-grey eyes would widen in complete shock as her jaw dropped to the ground. She could barely continue to ring her fingers together. That porcelain skin of hers would immediately darken with a crimson hue. Slowly she would take a tentative step backwards, missing the warmth as the winter winds encased her. Her arms would fold as she lowered her head, clearly uncomfortable. It never occurred to her that his Alpha would force him not to act upon a natural...activity. Though she would assume the ban was only meant for one other feline individual, but with Tobias lack of understanding things...well...she could see why Tobias would assume he could never have sex. But that was not the point right now. The point was â€" how the hell she could survive this extremely awkward moment. Softly the she-wolf attempted to speak, but she stuttered as she timidly looked up at him.

"I-I didn't...I-I didn't say I w-wanted to right now. I..I...n-never played. We-e d-don't have to."

It never occurred to her that she would have to have this conversation. Really she wanted to change the subject and not come across it again. Not until it was absolutely necessary. Denying an individual such a carnal and natural activity wouldn't last long. Someone would break. Nervously she would go back to twisting and turning her fingers, her eyes studying them, feeling nothing but cold. She missed standing at his side, the need to connect was an addicting thing. Especially because she still felt threatened by the pregnant panther. Now that they each had a title and a name to their relationship, before the cubs were born, there was an inkling of doubt slowly building in the back of her mind. Along with her dislike at the idea that she would have to participate in the fighting ring. As his hands clasped on top of her turning fingers, shyly she looked back up at him. Those dark chocolate eyes narrowing on her. Not once did he seem to dislike it when she, in habit, twisted her fingers around. Her fingers struggled to try and twist around one another, but with his firm warm hands gripping tightly and keeping her from twisting her fingers she just stood there. Disappointment was readable on his handsome face and Raven wanted nothing more than to not feel his dissatisfied gaze on her. With a soft sigh she nodded her head as she took one step towards him tilting her head to the side.

"I could try and fight? Maybe I won't go feral...I know winning is important to you."

She had seen the fights. There was always a side of her that was willing to jump in the ring and try a fight or two. It was just natural for a predator to want to do such a thing. Bragging rights and reputation were just one of those needs every Were needed. With such a low amount of self-confidence it was easy for her to want to risk anything to obtain that self-desire to achieve something...anything. Perhaps being in the ring once, just once, will satisfy that underlining need to find some sort of self-satisfaction. While he provided her with another alternative a soft chuckle came from the timid curly-brown haired girl. She would nod her head in an approved manner as her own hands would mimic his, providing soft three claps.

"I can clap my hands and tell others you are the best fighter."

For a moment she would grow silent and take the last step towards him. The distance between them was short just like it was before she was embarrassed by his earlier comments. For a moment she would briefly scan their surroundings, as if she were checking to make sure they were alone, playing along Tobi's belief that Tetra would be angered at her next comment. Standing on her tip toes she would reach his ear her words barely above a whisper.

"Well you are the better fighter...it says so at the Ring. But I could try...for you."

Returning back to her feet she would simply throw him a small smile. Now would be the moment in the book where one character touches or kisses the other. Yet Raven did not want to frighten Tobias. She would attempt to make sure that their small touches of affection were just that. After all, the last thing she wanted to do was to disappoint him. Perhaps her willingness to fight with him, along with keeping the space between them decent he would look favorably upon her. Her eyes would lower as she looked back at the titanium cat, one hand briefly stroking the cat, silently preferring she could stroke Tobias's hand or hair. Tobias did say the cat upon her neck was meant to watch her when he couldn't, perhaps she could use his gift to also hold back the need to touch and be close to him...she'd do anything to make him happy. That's what she learned in books...it was better to make those closest to you happy, especially the ones that meant the most.
