South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

To think that others would find beauty in scars is such an unusual and peculiar thing to think of. No one she knew really took focus on her scars. Most didn't pay any attention to it, something she was extensively grateful for, and if they did â€" they never let on. Though there were the strangers she walked past their eyes burned holes into her skin. It was those eyes that she could feel ripping through her as they traced each outline of each marred flaw. Each healed wound carried nothing more than negative memory, each one more terrifying than the next. It never did her well to think about her past and she never did try to make herself remember. She wanted nothing more then to obliterate it all from her memory, think act and live how she should if she wasn't brought up the way she was.

During the day her flash backs would come, and it was much easier to shake away those dreadful memories with a shake of her head. At night though, curled up in the hammock all alone that was when the worst of those terrorizing flash backs would come. It was common for her to wake up at night, trashing about and falling out of the hammock and crashing into the ground. Lying on the cold ground as traces of her nightmares slowly vanished she would slowly pick herself up and climb back in the hammock, lying awake afraid to close her eyes. It was only when Tobias came in and crawled into the hammock did she instantly move to curl up against him, relishing in the warmth and comfort as his presence made the haunting memories stay at bay. Feeling his form curl around her, made the girl feel safe, even if he accidentally brushed her skin against the numerous scars on her flesh.

It was not in her nature to collect and horde many things. She was used to having very little to her name. The idea that the witch was willing to give her all the photos was bizarre. Lifting her head her jaw would pry open, just slightly, as she gingerly took the only two photos she was interested in, her teeth gently taking the corner of the printed photo. It was at this point she would begin to stand on her four grey paws. One grey ear would twitch back and forth as she listened to the question. A rough snort came out of her muzzle, her soft voice holding an annoyed tone.

"I wouldn't say she is my 'own' witch...I did not choose her. I am her familiar."

She did not hate Serafina. If anything Raven did care for the raven-haired witch, but it was because she was required to based on their blood connection. It was difficult to want to care for another when she doubted that Serafina had any intention of even wanting to care for her. It was no surprise to Raven that she would hardly have anyone be so concerned for her well-being at all times. Even though she was part of a pack each individual still had selfish needs. It was best if she cared and protected herself when it came to her well-being, but that was such a difficult thing for her to do â€" when she was always concerned for everyone else's well being. So, caring for Serafina was a difficult thing when she didn't feel any sort of attachment or bond, even approval, from the witch. With the two photos in her mouth, her belly full for the moment, she felt it was best to take her leave. Her voice would press gently in the witch's mind as she spoke.

"Thank you for the photos. You are quite good."

With that being her last work she began to turn around and tread off, heading West, knowing just who she wished to be around at the moment. Perhaps one of the photos in her mouth would bring joy to her leopard friend. There was hardly a need for names at this point in time. Raven was sure they would met again in one way or another.
