South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The stars in their orbits [ Minn ]

As expected since Nadya had the twins her life had turned upside down. Of course Nadya felt it was all a good upside down, enjoying every minute of the time being a mom, but it was definitely a new level of chaos she wasn't used to. Not to mention she was now running a business on top of it. Today Nadya was taking a few hours of alone time before she would have to get ready for prepping her burlesque for the night's show. It had been a wash of relief when Nadya had found a babysitter who was not only familiar with twins and but also had the ability of cancelling other powers. It ensured that Nadya remained relatively at ease whenever she had to leave her dear Izzy and Micah.

With the late afternoon sun hanging low in the sky Nadya's blackened jaguar coat slunk through the forest's undergrowth, paws treading the soft earth silently as she searched for prey. After not being able to shift in the last stages of her pregnancy it was a joy to be able to take her feline form again. It just hadn't felt right being unable to be connected to that animal side. However, the ease that Nadya transitioned back into it was as if she had never missed a beat. If anything she felt stronger. Nadya's strong haunches tucked then sprung, launching her massive form up to dig her claws into the bark of a tree and scale it to the thick branches above. Her yellows eyes scanned the ground below as she began her patient wait for something to amble by.

It wasn't long before a small group of deer appeared, slowly walking down the path beaten down in the long grass from their many treks through. Despite the lack of breeze every single one was on alert with ears up and wide eyes as they walked. It gave Nadya a faint pleasure to see their twitchy behavior. There were no large bucks in the group to worry about, simply a gathering of females and their young whom had begun to lose their spots. Nadya's tail flicked back and forth waiting until they were nearly passed before leaping down on the small deer at the end. The other deer went scattering, snorting and calling out the danger as they fled. Nadya's claws and teeth sunk into the back of the deer, her size easily toppling the deer to its side with a thud on the earth, its own snorting and shrill calls echoing in the forest. The black jaguar released its hold just long enough to swipe at the deer again and scramble to leap back on for a better hold. This time her jaws clenched around its neck and gave a squeeze that with a sickening crunch had the light from the deer's eyes go out.

Only once she was sure the deer was dead did she release the animal's neck and settle back on her haunches to look at her prize with pride. If there was any benefit to being around Tobias it was that she had gained the confidence by hunting with him to take down larger prey than a measly rabbit. However, Nadya didn't eat the raw meat, finding the taste rather unenjoyable and instead would take her kills to the butcher or if small enough butcher it herself. First things first though. Nadya's rough pink tongue lashed out as she lifted her paw and began to clean the blood from her coat.
