South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the sight before me. As Raven wanders up to the girl, she looks up with a hotdog bun sticking out of her mouth at all angles, as if she tried to dump the whole bag in her mouth. It's so comical looking and yet heartbreaking at the same time that someone would be so desperate for food. She looks confused by Raven's words at first, trying to speak words around the buns but they slur her words all up and I put a hand up to cover my mouth, trying to hide the small smile. I'm sorry, it's just too silly looking.

She then looks at the bag of hotdogs in Raven's hand and she seems to understand. The girl's exclamation makes my eyes widen in shock as the girl scoots over and invites Raven to sit down with her. My smile is softer this time, glad to see Raven's kindness shining through like it always does. The girl looks speechless at first as she continues to eye the bag of hotdogs like they might disappear. Finally she asks if Raven sniped him when she wasn't looking and I tilt my head.

"What does snipe mean?"

I ask as I approach, open curiosity in my gaze. The girl takes a hotdog and sticks it in a bun then promptly in her mouth, obviously knowing what to do. She asks me how fast the guy runs and I can't help but smirk a little slyly, eyes twinkling with an old light.

"Speed doesn't matter if he can't hear where you went."

Of course I'm hinting at my natural gift of silence but she wouldn't know that. I was a thief for my former pack, the scavenger who got the food because I was the best at sneaking off with it. I could be quick and silent without even trying. I've stolen plenty of stuff since I came to Sacrosanct, my knowledge of money and the way civilization works still too young to truly embrace it. Stealing my food is what I've always known until Raven showed me differently. At the thought, my gaze moves to her, hoping she won't be disappointed in my answer since I'm sure she'll know I'm talking about stealing food as well. Of course I could always point out that she stole the hot dogs she just gave her, not that I'm sure that'll help my case.

Raven answers the girl steadily with a book in her hand, saying the guy left his cart in a matter of fact way. Raven then moves down the bench, making room for me to sit and I give her a kind smile before I sit down. Raven's sudden question to the girl about hunting in her other form surprises me. I don't know what kind of animal the girl is but I find myself achingly curious to know. My brows rise in open curiosity as I lean around Raven a little to listen better for her answer.
