South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

NO MATTER WHAT IT COST ME

i did anything and everything
no matter what it cost me
R
egan snarled as Tetradore landed in front of her. Her amethyst eyes barely shifting to take in his ebony frame. The sight of the two cubs, just a few feet away, was almost too much for the ebony tiger to handle. They were an abomination. Every instinct Regan possessed was honed in on them -- a dark whisper in the back of her mind goading her to eliminate them.

Y
ou see, Regan grew up as a daughter in the clan leader's household... he just happened to be her father. No one, and I repeat NO ONE, was allowed to procreate without his consent. The head of the clan controlled everything. The conception and birth of the cubs before her would be cause for punishment. The cubs would be killed and their parents, depending on their standing, would have appropriate punishments dealt. Most likely torture and then they would be given the chance to commit Seppuku -- a ritual suicide that would allow them to regain their honor through death. After Regan had been turned, tortured, and 'taught', she had been released and used as the clan's executioner and enforcer. It would have been her duty to eliminate the threat. Which is exactly what she viewed the cubs as. A threat to their pack, but more importantly, a clear violation and blight upon the honor of Tetradore and Raven. Which the tiger simply could not allow.

R
egan paid little heed to the smaller ebony panther stalking closer. Nadya's snarl a meager nuisance to the screams inside her mind. Her violet gaze remained trained on the cubs. She stalked a few steps closer, using her size and knowledge of battle to her advantage. The barely contained violence humming beneath her skin. All of a sudden, her violet eyes darken, the pupils widening at the onset of pain. Regan is unsure where exactly the source is coming from, but whoever had caused it, had just committed a very grave mistake. For you see, until that moment Regan had been holding herself back. Clinging to the tiny thread of sanity that told her she was no longer back home. The onset of pain severed that thread. For pain and torture is what her father, the clan leader, had used to control her for all those years. With a silent snarl she leapt past Tetradore and landed silently in front of Nadya. The violet hue of her eyes glowing in the darkness.

R
egan stalked closer to the small panther, the deadly grace of her kind was hard to miss. "If you think me feral whore, you are a fool." If she could have laughed, it would have been dark and dripping with disdain. Sadly, she settled for staring through Nadya as if she didn't exist. For to Regan, she no longer did. Her honor was gone and therefore she was invisible. The whisper of footsteps draws her gaze to the tawny leopard. She remains motionless as he brushes against the darkness of her skin. In fact, she brushes her head against the length of his shoulder in a sign of mutual greeting. The fractured tone of his mental voice doesn't bother Regan. In fact, there is a deeper understanding passing between the pair. There is something raw and untouched in the both of them and his words settle the red, hot darkness swirling in her mind.

T
hough in truth it is the solid pressure of Raven against her side that settles the remaining hostility boiling in the ebony tiger. She chuffs silently and presses her face against the thick ruff of Raven's neck. "They are not pack. They are abominations. Blights on the honor of everyone here." Regan shakes her head, her violet eyes closing in turmoil. "I don't understand." Her mental voice whispers. Confused and edged with uncertainty. After a long moment the tiger moves towards Tetradore, making sure to keep her gaze away from the cubs. She pays little heed to his aggressive and assertive stance. If she is to be punished, so be it. She is no stranger to pain. They are old friends. With a sigh Regan pressed the length of her frame against his, eyes closing she tucked her head beneath his neck and chuffed. The scent of uncertainty lingering on her skin. "Help me." The plea is whispered into his mind only. And this Regan waited.
