South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
Serafina was particularly good at people reading - when she so chose to be. The problem was that now-a-days she so oft didn't care any more beyond weather or not she could convince them that the fakes were real and the reals were fake and which who should purchase. In retrospect, perhaps things hadn't changed much since her youth. Even then it had always been about money - which card do I play to get a hand out from you? Am I the young girl with the deathly ill mom or the daughter of a dead beat father that can't be bothered? Which gets more sympathy out of you? How can I get the most money? The point, however, was that the young witch was vaguely aware that she had hit a sore topic at the talk of antiques. It was a shame really, but she had never thought particularly highly of them. She simply didn't see the point in paying atrocious amounts of money for things that were old and smelled like your grandmother died in them. Not that she faulted him for his peculiar fancies. If he wanted a spelled antique she was just as capable of procuring one.

Never the less, the young woman watched as the man in front of him pulled out his wallet, her eyebrow rose ever so slightly as he fiddled with whatever scraps of paper he held within. She could tell by the man's look to the window and the storm that raged outside that whatever was within that folded piece of leather had not been promising. A small shrug crossed her shoulder as he admitted to preferring the warmth of her shop with it's overwhelming herbal scents to the downpour outside and frankly even Serafina agreed that she'd rather stay open late then risk the storm to return home. What Serafina hadn't expected, however, was the notion that she could 'show him around'. A bewildered look crossed her nearly silver gaze, her eyebrows rising ever so slightly in the process. "Show..you around?" She inquired, her head tilting to the side. It took her a moment to remind herself that he hadn't the faintest idea of what he walked into - of what she was or the delicacy of what her shop entailed. It took her a moment longer to place that he wasn't of the supernatural variety and even still longer for her to decide weather or not it was worth the risk.

Slowly, the young woman leaned forward against the counter top, her stormy gaze steadfast upon the man in front of her. "I wonder..." She muttered softly to herself, "Tell me - what do you think of magic?" Her voice was soft, cautious perhaps as she inquired. Her breath hung in the air as if everything boiled down to this one simple answer. After all, being a witch was a tentative topic for the young woman. It was something she didn't particularly advertise though with most she encountered they already knew. This was something entirely different.
