South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

Of all the things he had perhaps perceived of the woman- stripes was not one of them. For several moments the ghostly white stallion was content to remain within his own small clearing a short distance away, having become aware of the woman camping upon his own personal lands several hours ago. He had been feeling...amicable enough to ignore her, at least at first. His own plans for the evening had seen him notice her little campsite early on as he simply passed through. Surely she was aware this area was claimed? His own personal patch of territory and as such he had been surprised perhaps, to notice her still camped upon his return some hours later. It was curious, really, how one meeting with the girl seemed to convince her she was entitled to camp so freely upon his land and yet truly from what little he knew of the woman he was hardly surprised. She was...spirited to say the least, not unknown among the equine of the world and yet her scent had been foreign to him, unusual. He had come to the rather incorrect assumption that she was a mule of some sort, a donkey a best- hardly a glamorous creature and yet he had met such things before. Zebra- was a surprise.

What had angered her so much as to force a change upon her remained to be seen, the shouts upon the phone line only moments ago very much ignored by the war horse, his attention having shifted upon the woman only as she sought to change. She was a small beast- in comparison to his own form, a more rounded, sturdy little thing that reminded him somewhat of a barrel with legs- his evident opinion on a creature he believes lesser then himself contained within the confines of his mind though a simper of sorts is given too grace his lips momentarily. Unusual as she was, her form appeared solid, hardy, her striped pelt slightly disorienting to his gaze though for now he simply shakes such thoughts aside- thick locks of white mane tossed askew as he does, large, feathered hooves carrying him forward at last to step easily through the tangle of undergrowth and towards the pacing Zebra.

It is simply instinct, a gesture purely animalistic- that sees his neck arch over beneath those thick ribbons of white mane, each muscle gleaming within that powerful frame as he proceeds to very near prance forward that final stride, tail lashing briefly at his flanks. A mare after all, is still a mare, in any form and some reactions are outside his care to bother to control as he permits himself a snort- smoke rising from flared nostrils into the chill of the air as he does. He had been curious of her on their first meeting, made all the more curious by why she had chosen to camp rather than seek a hotel- perhaps she simply enjoyed the outdoors as he did, the space, the freedom- anything free of confines or walls. A loathing that seemed to afflict most equine at one stage or another and yet she is still trespassing on lands he calls his own, each subtle movement a silent display that he is the far more powerful creature here, that he is dominant and she is better left to appeal to his good graces. It is fortunate perhaps, he is within a good mood tonight.

Vertical stripes are in this season, or so I hear.

It is light, loose, easy- words offered smoothly as he comes to a halt before her, violet eyes visible beneath that thick forelock of hair as he stands, neck still arched, ears pricked neatly upon his skull in a manner that appears truly curious. He steps forward again, moving to circle loosely about her now, hooves a dull thud on damp earth as he does, eyeing off her makeshift home with intrigue.

Your brave to camp out here. Aren't you worried about the lions and tigers and bears?

There is a slight chuckle to his words, a dry, dull humour that seems to taint his tone if only slightly, an undercurrent of...warning seeming to exist in each word as he stops to stand before her once more.

Then again- maybe the more concerning factor is your trespassing. These lands belong to somebody else, or didn't you notice? I know the guy- he's not really the cheery type.
