South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The stars in their orbits

Perhaps it was the eyes, the cool emerald that looked back at her only familiar on her brother, which caused Nadya to be more apt at allowing the canine close. Either way Nadya was not about to go anywhere, standing before the canine which rose to meet her posture and began to retell the story of her past. There were many hidden things within everyone's past who came to Sacro, some more volatile than others, but the brokenness left within was the same. With her newfound patience Nadya listened, learning from the individual of her will to survive and persevere. Ebony tail and ears twitched giving the only clue to Scarlett that the panther was indeed listening actively. Whether or not she cared seemed a bit more difficult to tell. She herself had seen her parents murdered and then her brother kidnapped. The memories had been buried and hidden deep, thankful only to her age, only resurfacing when they began to take over her nightmares in her teenage years finally forcing her adoptive pack to confirm her fears. Over the months and years things had come back, memories of her childhood that she still didn't talk about, simply because the blissful nature of them was in such contrast to how things were now that that was pain in itself. Her past was not the most painful part...her present was.

"I see." Again Nadya diverted her gaze from Scarlett in thought, processing the amount of information given that was probably a big step for the canine but which the feline hardly gave much weight to. "I may have had to give up for my pack but I still have my independence. I live apart from them by choice and see them when I want. But I admit I hold a position that allows me that freedom." The fact that she lived apart mostly due to her twins was a vulnerable fact that she didn't care to oblige the canine with just yet. Nadya's head tilted slightly considering the girl again and her insistence of needing to learn what family was first. Pack was family, having them mutually exclusive was...foreign to her. "Once you're in the pack, then you are family. They aren't different. Showing respect to the ones above you is the same as showing respect to your elders in a human family. Holiday meals bring the same squabbles, birthdays bring the same cheer, and children bring the same hope. Submit and give your trust to the ones above you and then everything feels as natural as breathing."

Nadya found that explaining what a pack was to a non-pureblood was actually hard. Everything was easy. She trusted her brother to keep her and the kittens safe now and in doing so found her own life feeling a whole lot easier without having to think about it. It was his burden to bare just like it was a parents burden to bare the needs of their children so the child could be carefree. "Perhaps my brother could be of better use to you. After all, if you're wanting to consider joining a pack it's him you'd have to convince first." She turned abruptly and began to pad away before pausing to look back at the creamy patched wolf as her tail flicked back and forth. "You coming?"
