South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Unlike Sorcha, Jericho's views on the world were darker. He knew there was a light there, he could see them through all the darkness, but he just couldn't reach them. She looked around and saw life, while his mahogany eyes saw death and destruction. Twenty four years was such a short time, especially in the life of a fairy, but in that time he had beaten, locked up in darkness to never see the light until just recently. She saw magic as good and helpful, while he saw it as evil and corrupt. It was consuming his soul and, no matter how much she wanted to, she could not save him. He was a lost cause, his fate sealed with blood and written among the stars.

Jericho had never had any financial problems, well off from the day he was born due to a large inheritance. If only his problem was making enough money each day like Sorcha, he would have chosen that life to his own. His problems seemed almost inescapable. Even now, having left the source of everything that filled him with the slow feeling of rotting inside, he had not left his problems behind. They followed him, their threat more prevalent than anything the dark hunters could muster. How simple a life it would be if it was like the witch's.

"Thank God for small miracles," she jests, earning a small smile and a nod from him. He had not be given the luxury of any miracle, be it small or otherwise. He was far too polite a creature to tell her that for some, they don't even deserve small miracles and therefore do not receive them. His mind is quickly released from the heavy grips of these thoughts by her laughter, a sound that he has come to like hearing."You are too clever! Shh, stop looking," she says, reaching out to grab his chin and push his head back forward like she was keeping him from seeing secret.. "If anyone sees then you'll spook my future victims!" she says with a false scowl, quickly losing her guise with a twitch of her lips. A deep chuckle rolls through his chest as a simper fits almost perfectly upon his lips. "We wouldn't want that now, would me?" he hums, a mischievous wink tossed her way as if he is about to spill some big secret.

"Ha, you are a player then!" she announces with a wink. A laugh makes its way easily from his chest as he holds his hands up in surrender."You are too smart,"he says, like he is admitting to being so, though obviously he is not. In fact, he was the farthest thing from a player. As attractive as he was, he'd never been with a woman, nor had he even been on a date. Anything between him and the female gender had been....strictly platonic, because it had to be. Even now with his freedom, even knowing girls would willingly throw themselves all over him, he felt no....desire to. He had sinned to much and he feared hurting them.

"I'm not much of a drinker myself. At least not in social settings." she says, admitting to her own avoidance to social settings even in this small way. He shrugs a little lackadaisically, though not for her but on the subject. "I have never drank alcohol to be honest," he admits, not really caring about this bit of information divulged to the girl. He had never indulged in the substance, never been allowed to, and so he had not built any desire to drink. It was toxic, and the last thing Jericho needed was to poison himself any further. The risk was not worth the short reward.

When he questions her as to her motives for being out in the rain, she reaches her hand out and opens it. Mahogany eyes pear within her tiny cupped hand to see seashells. His eyebrow arches curiously as his gaze drifts back to her for an explanation. "I was out collecting sea shells. They are very useful, you know, for certain things. And some are pretty. Who knows? Maybe one day I will find an oyster with a pearl inside."she admits, and he offers her a nod and a smile. "Maybe," he says to her finding a pearl. Suddenly he stands up, reaching his hand down to her in offer to help her up and for her to follow. "Maybe I can be of use to you on your seashell quest, if you have not grown tired of my company that is," the fairy says, a cool smile upon his lips as he waits for her to either join him or tell him to get lost, though he didn't believe the latter would ever happen with Sorcha.

And I have been poisoned inside...
...but I, I feel so alive.
