South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

There was, she supposed, a fortifying tranquility to be found in basking in the etherreal glow of the stars freckled across the midnight sky, tracing the path between each in some foolish errand to find patterns amidst the chaos. There was serenity to be had in the moon's companionship and in the caress of the night's playful zephyr... or so she presumed. Though if the truth be spoken rightly, Isolt had yet to find this solace, this utopic escape to which an individual might elope when the plentiful errs of life (or, rather, afterlife) should become a burden too cumbersome to bear. This was not for want of effort, of course, for here she lay beneath the veil of the picturesque eve, her auburn curls in a fan above her head, palest blue eyes twinkling beneath the curtain of her curled lashes. She had taken to this paritcular pass-time in the last fornight, traversing the city in order to visit one of the few locales where the infant vampire might have actually professed to feeling some modicum of comfort: the lush cliffside where Damon had once helped her conquer her fear for heights. Where he had helped her to fly.

Even so, she is restless... a restive mind delegating its infectious anxiety to her physical self so that she may not still in the manner she wishes. And so it is, mayhap, a mercy that laughter penetrates the tumult of her internal considerations, seeing the young woman upon her feet at a velocity that only vampires were truly capable of. The admitted desolation and general vacancy of the area upon her previous visits had lead Isolt to believe that this was not as popular a locale as it rightly should have been given the view and relative privacy, and so this betrayal of another's presence sparks the deeply-ingrained curiosity of the demure redhead. A curiosity that sees her moving before she knows of her destination, her trajectory predicated entirely by chance and a plethora of supernatural senses.

It is no long period of time before the lithe night-walker breaks the treeline and finds herself, to her undeniable surprise, upon the precipice of a park of sorts, strewn with myriad playground equipment obviously catered to the needs of the young. And, she blushes vividly for her intrusion, right beside a young blonde who, she suspects, was the source of the earlier outburst. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry...," she muses, backing away from the scene she was quite clearly intruding upon, though her footfalls are quickly halted by the violent rustling of the bushes at her back...
