South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Although Kato seemed indifferent standing with his thumbs tucked into his jean pockets, he was still very aware of every movement the stallion before him made. He may have been raised to be accepting and in such had a rather laid-back demeanor but his travels had also taught him to be ready seeing as not everyone else held the same ideals as him. His hazel flecked gaze flickered over to the woman when she gave her name, corner of his lip quirking once more in acknowledgement and proper greeting. He nodded in agreement, turning his sights back on the horse, "Fortune has only just crossed our paths. You know as much as I do."

For a moment Kato truly believed the stallion had lost interest in them, seemingly satisfied in their trivial existence on his land, watching the strange equine clomp away before turning to face Edith. "It's nice to meet you, Edith. I'm sorry if I bothered you; I just arrived to this city and wanted to get to know the land. Are you-" And then the rustle signaled a smaller something interrupting again. This time shaped like a human though the similarities in the striking white hair was enough to let Kato know the equine and the man before them were one in the same. Though the smaller stature of the man made Kato chuckle inwardly in amusement now feeling not at all surprised at his previous gruff behavior...compensation of sorts like a man with a truck.

"I wouldn't say I don't have a place to sleep-- I haven't really found a need for the traditional four walls and a roof to be honest." Kato shrugged slightly, replacing his hands into his pockets. Even though his family made the traditional mud and thatch huts common on the savannah horizon Kato had never spent much time within one. He slept under the stars with his friends; the homes seen more as a place for the old to avoid the direct sun. "I left my family in Africa for my walkabout so I've traveled alone for a while now." While many others would hold hesitation in airing personal information so easily Kato had no qualms. None of it could exactly be used against him either.

Kato brought up his hand to rub absently on the path of hair beneath his lower lip, raising a brow to glance between Frost and Edith. "Well, Frost, I can't speak for Edith but...if she goes then I go too." He wasn't about to let Edith go with a man whose first act was to get huffy about being in an invisible fence. It was questionable if this Frost actually had good intentions of helping out seemingly stray Weres or was just one of those Alphas who collected girls. Best he kept an eye on her. Kato gave a side glance to Edith, lowering his voice and replacing that friendly half smile. "I hope you don't mind. I just met you but I'd enjoy continuing our conversation."
