South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

If there was any such word to define the nearly ancient soul that Alexander found himself keeping company with - it surely was guarded. There was something distinctly reserved and restrained about her, her reactions carefully kept in check. However, he supposed much could be usually said the same for him. The centuries that had passed between them tended to have an obscure effect on their personas, stilling them, hardening them - it was an aspect of their longitude that he understood perhaps far too well. Alexander noted the sense of recognition that crossed her, his youthful conquest had certainly served it's goal. Although his kingdom had fallen to pieces within but weeks after his death, a fact that was partially his own, his name still lived on throughout the ages. It was that which had been the entire purpose behind expanding the reach of the Macedonian empire. It was that why he had so egotistically named so many cities after himself.

Still, he too noted the fashion at which she kept any true emotion from flittering across her gaze, perhaps expressing that she had felt far less kind about his invasion of Egypt. It caught him off guard in some fashion, after all he had rescued her home country from the steadfast, callous grasp of Persia. Then again, maybe she had enjoyed Persian rule? Either way, it had been nearly a millennium since then - surely she would not hold such a grudge from a time that had long since passed. His head tilted ever so slightly to the side in a brief display of inquisitiveness though he waited in patience for the Egyptian woman to make her own introductions, his eyebrow raising ever so slightly as she did so. If there was anything Alexander had taken a deep interest within - it had been the cultures of which he had conquered. He had always done his best to pay respect to their gods, having been name the son of one himself. He paid his due diligence and in return he had been given a glimpse into the glorious group of which she had belonged.

"I am surprised to find a high priestess out of Egypt." He commented with a sense of surprise, "I had been under the impression that she guards her boarders well - your nation that is. Though it has been a good time since I have returned there." Alexander allowed the woman her brief moment of silence, assuming that she was merely grieving the loss of her Pharoah, despite the years that might have passed. The priestess had always held a certain closeness with their rulers - it was a relationship he understood well. "May I ask which Pharaoh it is you so diligently serve?" His gaze shifted from the woman to follow her line of sight, watching the disappearance of their prey and yet, like her, he hardly seemed particularly perturbed by this change of events. Instead, the smallest of simper's crossed the corner of his features despite the use of her word 'old'. Ancient was far more adept of a term. I suppose the company of an old woman is far more intriguing." He responded in like.
