South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Stars in their orbits

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Nadya was content where she lay sprawled on her side. It wasn't often that she got any sense of relative peace. Outside however the kittens were always able to entertain themselves long enough for Nadya to relax. The heat that the earth had absorbed from the days rays had all but dissipated on the patch Nadya sprawled upon though. It acted like a timer for her really. When her body no longer felt the stolen warmth it was time to gather the kittens to go back home to avoid the cold. Her thoughts on the matter of preparing to get up were interrupted by a small feline grumble that caused Nadya's ear to prick up. She didn't dare open her eyes though just in case it was some small matter like it usually wasâ€"her daughter was constantly toppling herself or getting stuck in her explorations. It usually got sorted out on itself and didn't require Nadya's attention which was why she hesitated on opening her eyes.

It wasn't until a man's vocals were directed at Nadya did her eyes slide open to reveal golden eyes as she twisted her large ebony form to sit up properly. No one had been daring enough before to get close to the cubs what with their mother within such easy lunging distance. So it was confusing why this man had decided to interact with Izzy and in turn call upon Nadya. Her gaze slid away from the man in question seeking out the small spotted form of her daughter and found the cub toddling after the wispy trails of a shadow. It seemed harmless enough but it was obviously witchcraft which only recalled an uneasy memory for the young mother. Her lips peeled back, baring ivory canines, though made no sound towards the stranger. It was only a warning with no threat behind it.

She rose to all fours before her heavy paws carried her the short distance closer to him, the tip of her tail flicking near the ground enticing the mal cub to follow her. The dancing shadow that enthralled her daughter was impossible for Nadya to cease so it was the cub which she halted by placing a large paw on her small frame to halt the play. Izzy mewed and grumbled in dissatisfaction, her body crumpling beneath the gentle weight of her mother's paw only to flail and playfully attack it once on her back. Izzy not only looked like her father but behaved like him in every sense. Nadya's attention turned from the wriggling cub back to the man at hand. She had never seen him before but something about him was familiar. It took a moment of contemplation, gaze steady on him which perhaps for a human would have been unnerving to have a big cat staring at them, but then it registered.

His scent...she had smelled it upon Tobias' coat on more than one occasion. That in itself was curious since he shared the same first experience as Nadya with witches. Her eyes narrowed as her ears twitched to lay off to the side, questioning as well as a feline could with their body language what it was he wanted. Nadya and Tobias did not always like the same people but her reason was much different seeing as she had cubs to think about.
