South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

These past few months have been extremely trying for the meek introvert. Since Frost's attack she had been far too recluse more so than often. Holding herself up within her room may have allowed her a brief moment of relief, mentally, but it wasn't doing everyone else any good. She had fallen back to a method that had previous worked for her when she was a member of her old pack. In her old pack the cage she was in was far more than a holding place to keep her from attacking everyone when she went feral. The cage had become a sanctuary for her mind to heal after their physical, emotional, and mental abuse when she had been in a normal state. The bedroom within the Ark had become a cozy cage that was surrounded by those of a pack that had included her. She felt safe there, but even when the others got close to her she did not want their presence. It was difficult to separate her fear from those that would not do her harm. After the spat she had with Tobias she attempted to leave her room more often and try to get herself into a comfortable routine. She was not completely healed, but she was better than she had been for a while now. Now she was capable of walking farther away from the safety and refugee from the West Side and the Ark. Today she roamed around within her wolf form quite content and at peace with herself. Being holed up within the Ark for far too long caused the young woman to crave the tranquility and sense of freedom of nature, and so, she came here to the woodlands of the South.

Massive dark paws left deep impressions within the snow behind her, her pace steady and slow, her tail and head held in such a relaxed way. However, her solitude would come to an end the moment she caught whiff of a familiar scent that caused her blood to grow cold. Grey trimmed ears laced back against her ebony skull in a displeased manner, as she followed the scent, keeping quiet. Eventually she approaches the clearing watching Alexis stand still until she crashes to the ground and sobs. Blazing blue-grey eyes simply stared at the woman, lying on the ground in such a defeated position, and she sits down curling her grey marked tail over her paws. Before the attack from Frost she would have immediately sought Alexis' side and bring her reassurance and comfort. Yet she will do no such thing. Raven did not trust many people, but she had put some trust in Alexis, and when Alexis followed Frost, it confirmed to Raven that she was not important to Alexis, she never was, and so she would sit here, glaring at Alexis undecided on how she should treat the were-fox.
