South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

I couldn't help my hunger tonight. I had to unleash it on someone and that girl just happened to be walking by. Who wanders into a cemetary at night anyway? Okay, so the girl had flowers and she was slightly weepy so I would say she was going to visit some poor old relative's grave, but won't she be happier knowing that she's going to see them again much sooner than expected? I needed to take my frustrations out on someone. I've been running into some colorful characters while in Sacrosanct but nothing to scratch my itch just yet. You could say I'm in the market for a new play thing. The girl walking through the cemetary wouldn't do because frankly, she wasn't my type. Dressed in a skirt that goes past her ankles and a blouse with no cleavage...come on, I like my tramps cheaper than this. She looked like a nun, so I killed her. At least I didn't violate her too.

Once I made my kill, I wipe my mouth and wander away, leaving her for whoever to find and grieve over. I could just find a nice empty hole to throw her in but what would be the fun in that? Okay, so maybe I'll just find a coffin or tomb to put her in, that way she'll at least be sheltered. It's not like I need people staying away from creepy cemetaries to avoid getting killed. This might just be my new favorite hunting place. Whistling to myself while I walk, I head down the line of tombs until I find a freshly closed one. Pulling open the thick stone wall is no problem as is throwing the stone top off of the coffin inside. The man is freshly decayed but it already smells musty and if I had a need for breath, I'm pretty sure I'd be hacking my brains out right now. Anyway, it'll do.

I wipe my hands on my torn jeans and start to head back for the girl's body but I smell something, a supernatural something. Bright blues narrowing in suspicion, I circle wide and stick to the shadows, keeping myself downwind so I can get a better view. A girl sits on top of a fence by the girl's body, smoking a joint like it's a normal Friday night. I smirk, amusement dancing in my gaze. A curious creature, this one. Guess I'd better not disappoint my fan. I wander up behind her, leaning over the fence as I smirk.

"Care to share? Dead girl always tastes better after a drink or a smoke."

My eyes glitter teasingly, wondering how she'll react. Something tells me she's not too afraid if she planned on sitting around to see who killed the girl and if she's going to attack, I hope she makes it good cause I bet I'm just as strong, if not, stronger. Otherwise, this could just turn into a normal night with two supernatural beings sharing a joint before I have to go ditch the girl's body and look for other means of entertainment.
