The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park
Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
The Outskirts
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Now that I'm improvin', they say that I have lost it all, oh
Darien can hear the man. He holds his breath, trying to calm himself and making every exhale as quiet as possible. He was so scared he almost wanted to vomit. Come on, Darien, come on. Think! Fucking think! You can do this He starts looking around his surroundings. There is fucking nothing here! I am so fucked! He can't think straight. The fear he was feeling was blinding and all too distracting. All he can hear is the rushing blood to his head from his beating heart, the sound of water and the man. This crazy lunatic hunting him like something out of a horror movie.
'You threw a ball at me. Is that the game you wanted to play? Dodgeball? A bit childish of you but I can manage it I suppose.'
Son of a bitch. Darien is too scared to move, so he stands there. He even starts punching himself in the side of the head a few times, out of frustration and hoping maybe it would help him decide how he was going to get the hell out of this! Then, the sound of something, like a swoosh. It was bright as hell and hot, and the tree next to the one he was hiding behind suddenly explodes. It was like a bomb just went off and it comes crashing down in an ashy fit. It was deafening and Darien's eyes could have popped right out of his head. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?! None of this was fair, at all. In that moment, he knew he was gonna die. He stood no chance. It was starting to actually piss him off. Make him angry.
The next tree, same thing happens. He grabs his ears from the ringing and pain of it, and he had to react. Fuck plans. This was below the belt. Darien starts to run, just as he hears the man announcing that he had found him. He wanted to yell back something memorable, you know, since this was probably going to be his last words but nothing comes directly to mind. He's not even that far before he hears and feels the tree he was hiding behind fall to the same fate as the others and it knocks him off his footing. He falls down, the heat from this was surprising and then ... a painful throb in his leg. He's not sure when he looks and sees the long gash on his calf how this happened. Was it from the explosion or something he might have fallen on? At this point, nothing made sense. It was bleeding pretty good and he knows this wouldn't help him for whatever remaining minutes of life he had left.
He gets up, stumbling through the brush and he limps, he struggles. He could almost feel now the man was probably right behind him and amusingly just watching. He can hear the water getting louder and then it was thunderous. A few more steps and he finds himself standing at the rocky banks of a fast river. It's cutting him off and he can't see any bridge or anyway to get across. Everything hurt, but he wasn't about to give up. He turns around, expecting to see the man standing there and a look of desperation and a fight all over Darien's face now. He yells, announcing his dead end and his defiance. "Hey asshole, stop trying to impress me with your magic tricks! You want me?! Be a man and do it with your hands! Come on, fucker! Let's go!"
Darien has a plan now. Well, part of one.
