South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

I don't feel fear around the wolf, but then i'm not a friend of fear anyway. She seems thoughtful but I don't feel threatened. She stays low, as if trying to prove she's means no harm to me. At least if she goes to attack, I'll see it coming. She at least agrees that humans are bad. My ears flick back again when she says we are were-creatures, even going so far as to call me half human. My lips curl in distaste and I shake my head. "No, that's not true. That can't be true." I hate to think of someone hunting me for just being one of those creatures too. That's not exactly making me want to be one of those filthy sounding creatures anyway.

She tells me her friend is half leopard and I can't help but laugh, a serious of yipping barks from the lips of a coyote. "You MUST be on something. There are no leopards around here. Maybe Asia or Africa." I snort, humor lighting up my blue eyes. My eyes narrow again. "You're damn right I've never changed to a human. I'm a coyote, that's all I can be." I take a step back, her words about transforming making me wary once more. As she stands, my hackles raise in warning, fearing this is a trick to throw me off guard so she can attack. I won't be that easy.

A warning growl comes from my lips as I watch her but I hold my ground. I won't attack her unless she gives me reason to but I don't know what she thinks I expect to happen. As the shadows go more to her, I snap at them again in agravation, not liking the feeling of it sliding past my legs to go to her. But as her fur vanishes and gives way to smooth skin, my eyes widen and I forget about snapping. My hackles remain raised and trembling, my lips only curling back further but my tail tucks in panic of this sudden situation. I watch the curly hair sprout from her head as she slowly stands, a human right before my eyes. I blink constantly, taking another step back as a snarl moves past my lips.

I watch her throw up both her hands, weapons to most of my kind. I've seen the bats and pitchforks they can hold, the brooms they can swipe at me to hurt or kill. I've seen and heard the guns that they can aim with those same hands. My tail raises over my back in warning. I shake my head as she speaks. "No, I can't. You're wrong. You're a freak of nature, a filthy human. I'm nothing like you." With that, I lunge at her hands, snapping on air because I didn't truly mean to bite her before I take off into the woods, hoping against hope she doesn't follow. My heart is racing in my chest and I'm panting but not from the run. No, it can't be true. I'm not what she says I am. I'm just a coyote, nothing more.

OOC: We can always have them meet up again at a later setting if you want. I'm still trying to figure out the point at which she'll listen xD
