South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

If Sterling was the least bit honest with himself, he might too have revisited the memory of Henry nestled within the ivory tub attempting to hide the reaction that Sterling's presence had upon him much later that evening in the comfortable confines of his own bedroom. He might have dwelled on the image much longer than he currently allowed himself to. Though the desire to alone certainly caught Sterling off guard. Despite the thoughts that might oft cross his might, it was rare for Sterling to act upon such sexual desires with another individual. That Henry had coaxed that want from him was surely enough to distract him from his risotto upon the stove. Still, regardless, his did his best to reign his attention back in the moment that Henry walked in the kitchen. It was perhaps clear to both of them that he was making a particular effort to move the conversation beyond what had happened, the man's rambling about work was entirely out of character for him and yet he was still trying. His blue gaze shifted towards his roommate, a small simper crossing his lips, "Thank you." He responded, not expecting for the conversation to move any further.

However, what he was aware of was Henry's immediate disappearance from the kitchen and for a brief moment Sterling let out a soft sigh, though even he wasn't certain whether it was out of regret at Henry's lack of presence or the fact that he was certain his attempts were in vain. A small frown tugged at the corners of his lips as the timer on the stove went off and for the moment Sterling distracted himself from his thoughts to pull the mushrooms he'd so carefully stuffed from the oven. The heat from the stove was warm against his still bare chest, the cookie sheet clattering momentarily on the stove top. He took careful care to gingerly pluck the caps from the cookie sheet, entirely unaware of Henry's return until he felt the boy's hand on his wrist. Instantly, Sterling frozen, his gaze raising immediately to Henry's face. He remained silent as the man worked, all too aware of even the slightest brush of their skin meeting. The touch alone was enough to send shivers down his spine. It wasn't until Henry moved away to grab beers from the fridge that Sterling dared to breathe, much less speak. "Thanks..." He responded before offering the plate he'd provided. It was funny how they always found themselves here at dinner. Dinner was a safe place, wasn't it? Anything else almost felt....odd.
