South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The young witch remained entirely steadfast in her newfound role of protector, despite the brush of Tamzin's fingertips across her shoulder. Although she did her best to keep her attention upon their assailants, Serafina couldn't help the glance she took to her side, quickly taking in Tamzin's weary figure. She could tell the woman was certainly in no state to fight and her species as a hunter put her at particular risk. They needed to get out of her, after they survived this, if they survived this. Serafina's attention turned back towards the men in front of her, her slate colored gaze easily too catching the fashion at which his fists seemed to curl. Regardless of whatever fear she might have felt, a coy simper remained upon her sweetheart lips as she quite literally tested their resolve. After all, they surely weren't worth the possibility of a death wish -were they? There was far easier prey within the bar. And certainly far better tasting. The girl couldn't help the smug look that danced across her features as the group flinched, her fingertips encircling the phial once again. She was in control here and the witch was determined to not relinquish it.

Thankfully, the vampires too seemed to sense this and the seriousness of her acquisition. The exchanged looks told her just as much and it wasn't long before they took their leave, slinging their curses in their wake. "That's miss witch bitch to you suckers!" Serafina called out as they retreated, clearly quite pleased with herself and the pun she had unintentionally made. "Hey Tam-" The girl hardly got the chance to finish her sentence before her hunter companion was doubled over, emptying the contents of her stomach against the alley's wall. Serafina's nose wrinkled ever so slightly as the putrid smell hit her though her stomach had certainly been through worse, keeping down the contents with naught even a gag. Serafina took a step away from the vomit, reaching out to lead her friend into the street by a genteel touch to her elbow. She might have been able to withhold her stomach from the initial sound and scent but the girl hardly wanted to linger long in the area lest she follow suit.

"Don't worry about it." Serafina responded effortlessly, brushing off those two words despite the difficulty it took for the hunter to speak them. The witch's gaze never once left her companion's features, watching as the woman glanced down, searching her pockets diligently for...something. She never once interrupted, instead simply watching and waiting until a piece of gum was put in her mouth. The witch shook her head ever so slightly at Tamzin's admittance. "Hey, we all need an off day, it's okay. We should get out of here though, gotta keep you safe on your vacation day." Serafina winked in the direction of her companion before nodding down the street, "Come on, I live further downtown. We'll be safe there." After all, everyone knew it was bad luck to attack a witch on her own home ground. There, she had the advantage.
